More than 30 years after he first donned the iconic cape and cowl, Michael Keaton returns as Batman in the new full-length Super Bowl trailer for The Flash.

The highly-anticipated film will be influenced by the iconic Flashpoint comic books that reveals multiple timelines Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) can visit.

One of these timelines is where Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne/Batman has been living, with the 71-year-old actor reprising his role from 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns, still fighting crime in Gotham after all these years.

The Flash will also bring back Ben Affleck as the primary DCEU timeline’s Bruce Wayne/Batman as he tries to guide Barry along this dangerous path.

The film also marks the DCEU debut of Sasha Calle playing Kara Danvers, a.k.a. Supergirl, who’s seen in the final moments of the trailer.

While a truncated version of the trailer debuted during the Super Bowl on Sunday, DC unveiled the full three-minute trailer online shortly thereafter.

The trailer begins with Keaton’s Batman asking Barry why he wants to stay in this universe, when he can go to any other.

‘Because this is the one where my mom lives. I’m not gonna lose her again,’ Barry says, as Barry tries to go back in time to stop his mother’s murder.

Barry is seen meeting the Barry from his mother’s universe/timeline, as Ben Affleck’s Batman tries to warn Barry that he has, ‘no idea what the consequences could be.’

While Barry insists he could ‘fix things,’ Bruce adds, ‘But you could also destroy everything.’

It turns out, the consequences are that Barry inadvertently created a world without superheroes a.k.a. metahumans, with General Zod (Michael Shannon, reprising his role from 2013’s Man of Steel) returning.

‘I created a world with no metahumans and now there’s no one to defend us,’ Barry says, while Keaton’s Batman says, ‘Want some help?’

The superhero film also stars Ron Livingston and Maribel Verdu as Barry’s parents, Henry and Nora Allen, Kierse Clemons as Iris West, Antje Traue as Faora and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

Andy Muschietti (IT) directs from a screenplay by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee) based on a story by Joby Harold (Army of the Dead).

The film will hit theaters June 16, going up against the Lionsgate horror spoof The Blackening.

The movie is making headlines for far different reasons as well, with the recent legal troubles of star Ezra Miller.

He was arrested twice in Hawaii in the span of a month, and he was also accused of choking a woman at a bar in Iceland and harassing another woman at her home in Berlin.
