Pose! Love Island fans have been given the opportunity to see behind-the-scenes action from another lens – the islanders’ mobile phones
Posting the pictures to the official Love Island Instagram, the account wrote: ‘First week in the villa completed.
‘Take a look at some exclusive snaps from our Islanders’ phones!’
In one snap, Kai and Tom can be seen smiling into the mirror as they got ready for the night.
Both had clearly scrubbed up well as they swapped their swimming shorts for something a bit more modest.

The pair were joined by their fellow islanders for a group selfie that same evening, as they gather in the outside kitchen.
From peace signs to big smiles, the winter islanders looked to be in good spirits.
Meanwhile, in another selfie, Shaq took some alone time as he smiled from the balcony – with the incredible South African villa backdropped behind him.
Unlikely trio Olivia, Zara and Lana also posed for a photo, all glammed up for the night ahead.
The three girls looked stunning in their monochrome outfits: Olivia rocking an all black fit, Zara donning a raunchy brown crop top and brown leather jeans and Lana putting on a leggy display in a light blue skirt and matching top.
The girls posed with their arms in the air as they take on the evening ahead.
Another unexpected trio – Kai, Haris and Tanyel also pose for a selfie during the evening.

Meanwhile, in a sizzling mirror selfie Tanya and Olivia stripped down to their bikinis to show off their stunning figures.
Tanya looked incredible as she showed off her toned stomach in the snap in a purple bikini.
Olivia looked equally breathtaking as she showcases her gorgeous physique in the blue bikini.

While the islanders clearly enjoy using their phones for pictures, they are mainly given phones to chat to producers and deliver the iconic ‘I’ve got a text line’.
Much like the famous Love Island water bottles, every year the contestants get issued a mobile phone with their names emblazoned on them.
For every big event, including explosive recouplings, brutal dumpings, and fun challenges, the Islanders will get sent a text informing them of what’s about to come, which they often read out loud to inform the rest of the group and viewers at home.

The mobile devices are used to replace the stars’ real phones, which are taken away before the start of the show to prevent them from communicating with the outside world.
The phones have no internet access but the Islanders can text each other, which viewers sometimes get to see.
In another cute snap, Tanyel and Kai got together for their first couple selfie – and the pair look great together.
Finally, fan favourite farmer Will Young made an appearance in a photo and was joined by the other boys for a group selfie.

Former contestants Anna Vakili and Amber Gill, who both starred on the ITV2 dating show in 2019, revealed what happens to the phones during a Q&A session for Closer magazine.
When asked about the selfies on the phones, Anna said: ‘We didn’t get to keep any of the photos that we took.’
But Amber, who won the show alongside Greg O’Shea, actually got to keep her phone as part of a ‘winners pack’.
She said: ‘I actually got a lot of the photos that we took. Because I got my Samsung phone after I finished.

‘It was part of my… like I got loads of gifts as like a ‘winner pack’, and I got one of the phones. It had the pictures we took.’
Fellow former Islander Zara McDermott has also revealed more about the phones, as her boyfriend Sam Thompson recently asked her about the texts the contestants receive from producers.
Sam asked: ‘Are you told you have to say, ‘I’ve got a text!’ because everybody says it, or is it just the done thing?’
Zara replied: ‘It’s just the done thing.’
She added that the Islanders are somewhat aware of when a text will be coming and that the producers suggest to them: ‘Maybe you should all have your phones near you’.
