‘I mean the people who slide into my DMs are quite questionable – but if they’re any hot guys out there who want to slide into my DMs let me know.

‘I don’t have time to do anything, I can’t even date at the moment. I work, I sleep, I eat and then it goes again. So, at some point I do actually need to take the time to date someone.’

Scarlette recently revealed she had a ‘rough’ time which left her crying herself to sleep for six months thanks to being in a relationship she ‘didn’t want to be in’.

Referring to her ex-boyfriend of two years, Scarlette explained that she was holding in a lot of ’emotion, sadness and tension’ because of their relationship and her hectic work schedule.

She said: ‘I was in a relationship that I didn’t want to be in and shouldn’t have been in. I was overworked, my iron count was low. I don’t think I was depressed, but I was really sad.’

‘For the last six months of 2021, I cried myself to sleep nearly every night, not really understanding why.’

The TV presenter also hinted that she was not able to completely be herself during their time together.

‘The minute I came out of that relationship, a huge weight just lifted,’ Scarlette continued, ‘I felt I could be goofy again and not have to be apologetic for it. I didn’t have anybody telling me: “You shouldn’t be like that”, or: “This is too much”, I’m happy now and I smile for no reason. I don’t cry – not how I cried back then anyway.

She added that she will not ever let anyone ‘dim my light’ ever again’, confidently saying that if that light is ‘too bright’, then ‘you can get out’.

Scarlette was in a two year relationship with Lyndrik, after meeting more than a decade ago when they were starred alongside each other in West End show Thriller Live.

A representative for Scarlette confirmed to MailOnline that the duo had parted ways back in October, before her stint on I’m A Celeb.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘They split quietly earlier this year – it was difficult with her schedule and his career.’

Sharing that the Down Under adventure is helping with the breakup, the source continued: ‘She was upset when it first happened, but she is doing okay now and is looking forward to her I’m A Celeb journey.’

Scarlette, who is 35, continued to talk about future relationships and the idea of children in future.

The former A Place In The Sun host said she is ‘single and ready to mingle’ – and that she plans on being a mother with or without a partner, adding that she would get her eggs frozen if needs be.

Following a flurry of success since the ITV show ended, Scarlette, 35, announced she’s set to step into the legendary host’s shoes over the festive period.

The TV presenter shared the announcement on her Instagram story, saying: ‘I probably shouldn’t have told you just yet in case they decide they don’t want me anymore.

‘But yes, I am going to be covering for the legend that is Richard Arnold on GMB, the Entertainment section, Good Morning Britain. I’m actually going to be covering over the festive period. Mind Blown!’
