A woman with a gunshot wound staggered into a Sydney hospital after being dropped off in a BMW on Thursday.
NSW Police said they received a report of a gunshot victim at Bankstown Hospital in south-west Sydney.
It is unclear who was driving the BMW but the person drove away from the scene after dropping off the woman, believed to be in her 30s.

Footage from the hospital shows the woman being wheeled into an ambulance.
She was then transferred to a specialist hospital as police surrounded the hospital.
An NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘About 12.50pm on Thursday 12 January 2023, emergency services attended outside Bankstown Hospital in relation to an incident where a woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, presented to hospital with an apparent gun shot wound to the right torso.
‘The woman is being treated for her injuries.

‘Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have established a crime scene outside the hospital and are canvassing the area for any witnesses or CCTV footage.
‘Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.’
