It comes after she shared another stunning snap in black floral lingerie in an inspiring post shared to Instagram in December.

She  snapped a selfie of herself in a chic bra and open white linen shirt as she shared a poem which hits out at the diet industry.

The poem also encourages body positivity, with lines that include the words: ‘Your body does not belong to them’.

The star also took to her stories where she admitted she felt ‘vulnerable and a bit awkward’ sharing the lingerie snap, before adding that she ‘loves the poem’.

The full poem read: ‘Your body does not belong to them you know… the industries.

‘The ones who sell you last-minute diets, then watch in glee as you lose yourself amongst the treats, before calling you back as you descend into a spiral of guilt, to begin another year.

‘They want you exhausted, they want you ashamed, they want you desperate. But your body does not need them my friend, your body, in fact, knows exactly what it needs.

‘It needs rest. It needs light, fresh air. It needs water. It needs acceptance, kindness. It even needs fun.

‘Most of all, it needs not to be bombarded with everything at once, and then nothing at all. Stay checked in. Enjoy your meals. Eat with peace. With love.

‘Never guilt. Guilt festers and rots. Your body is not a display piece, for the world to judge.

‘It is your home. It is where you do your living. And a little bit of festive cheer need never deplete you of your pride.

‘You can start the new year, full of food, full of happy memories, and full of acceptance that this is living. And balance will come, as balance does.

‘Without shame playing any part at all. Wouldn’t that be new for ‘23?’

Laura looked gorgeous in the snap, styling her blonde locks into soft waves while she upped the slam including a sleek make-up palette including pink lipstick.

Her post was met with a plethora of positive messages from her fans, who praised both her image and her for sharing the poem.

She penned: ‘I just want to be clear on something, because comments like this make me wonder if I’m not explicit enough.

‘I am not, nor have I ever been, anti-health. I’m not telling you all to go and stuff your face Is with 20 pizzas a day. I think we should all strive for health.’

She continued: ‘What I am is anti-diet and anti diet-culture (note, not anti-dietER).

‘All I want is for you to know that you deserve to live a full and happy life just as you are.

‘I wasted so many years thinking I was a useless sack of s**t because of my size. I wish I had focused MORE on my health and less on what I looked like. I wish I didn’t ease my life trying to do fad diets that messed with my head and led to even more weight gain.

‘It took me a long time to realise diets don’t work, and that you don’t need to look like a Victoria Secret model in order to be respected and loved.

‘I post the content I do in the hope you learn the same. Does that make sense?’
