On Friday, Britney shocked fans while writhing around on the floor to Santa Baby in a red jumpsuit and smothering cake on herself.

It comes after earlier this week her husband Sam shed light on her decision to step back from Instagram amid speculation that her accounts are being controlled again.

On Wednesday evening, Sam requested that fans of his spouse respect her privacy, at this time, on his Instagram Story.

‘Social media can be traumatizing. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times,’ he wrote.

He continued: ‘Thank you to all of her protective fans,’ he wrote amid fears from fans that Britney isn’t in control of her own social media accounts.

The Hot Seat actor explained he does not post pictures or videos of Spears ’24/7′ out of ‘respect for her privacy’ and asks permission if he ever does.

‘For my job I have to attend many events. It would be my honour if she joins. For her those things are not fun. They’re hictic [sic] and full of stress,’ he said of why they don’t typically attend red carpets together.

‘I’ve always respected and supported her privacy with everything I’ve had. I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same,’ he concluded. ‘Sometimes being over protective can cause more stress and damage.’

His post comes after she recently deactivated her Instagram account and raised eyebrows for not joining Asghari on an Instagram Live.

Spears, who has since returned to Instagram, has previously deleted her account for the sixth time (the third time in the past four months.)

The risqué display comes despite the fact that in September her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 44, indicated that their teenage sons Jayden, 16, and Sean Preston, 17, were ’embarrassed’ by her racy social media posts.

Federline alluded to their sons being uneasy about Britney’s racy posts during an interview with ITV News that was all about her, their marriage, and their children.

During the interview her son Jayden also claimed that her sexually-charged social media posts are ‘something to get attention’ and voiced his concern that it ‘may never stop.’

Jayden – who lives with his brother at Kevin’s Los Angeles home – said, ‘It’s almost as if she has to post something to get attention. This has gone on for years and years and years and this actually may never stop.’
