Serena Williams flaunted her stunning figure as she posed in a clingy blue velvet dress from her S By Serena brand on Thursday.

The striking portrait made an appearance on the 41-year-old tennis star’s Instagram page, where she humorously captioned: ‘I’m never taking this dress off’

Serena previously hinted that she’d be stepping away from tennis earlier this year, but in October clarified that she is ‘not retired’ from the sport.

Wow! Serena Williams, 41, stunned in a vibrant blue dress she wore to promote her brand, S By Serena, in a new Instagram post shared on Thursday 

The mother-of-one could be seen posing seductively as she casually leaned on the back of a white couch against a plain white backdrop.

She modeled a vibrant, long-sleeved blue dress with a cross-over skirt from her latest collection titled Sincerely, You. 

The figure-hugging dress, which also comes in a red color, can be purchased at $125, according to the S By Serena website. 

Serena opted to slip into a pair of open-toed, silver heels that perfectly coincided with the silver necklace, bracelet and hooped earrings she used to accessorize her ensemble.

In the stylish snap, Serena’s locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly flowed past her shoulders in elegant curls. 

Her makeup was classically done, comprising of a layer of black mascara, blush and contour to accentuate her cheekbones, along with a nude-colored lipstick.

Last year when she had showcased a collection from her clothing line during New York Fashion Week, Serena had stated to Unbothered Magazine that, ‘it’s nice that I can actually kind of focus on the other things, because I’ve been focusing on tennis for literally my whole life,’ according to Refinery 29. 

She also explained that she wanted women to feel ‘confident’ and ‘amazing’ when wearing her clothing. ‘Sometimes, if you just have that magical outfit, or that magical dress, it just helps you feel better.’

Earlier this year in August, the beauty opened up about possibly stepping away from her tennis career with a Vogue essay.

‘I don’t want it to be over, but at the same time I’m ready for what’s next,’ Serena had expressed, gushing that tennis, ‘has given me so much. I love to win. I love the battle. I love to entertain.’ 

‘My whole life, up to now, has been tennis. My dad says I first picked up a racket when I was three, but I think it was even earlier,’ she had reminisced. 

During the course of her successful career, Serena also tied the knot with entrepreneur, Alexis Ohanian, in 2017, and welcomed a daughter the same year, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Although Serena had expressed to Vogue that she had planned to evolve away from tennis, she stated at the TechCrunch Disrupt panel in San Francisco in October that, ‘I’m not retired.’ 

‘The chances of me returning are very high,’ the athlete informed the audience, according to The San Francisco Standard. 

Serena had competed earlier in September during the 2022 U.S. Open, where she had lost to Ajla Tomljanovic. 

‘I have never liked the word retirement. It doesn’t feel like a modern word to me,’ the hard-working mother explained to Vogue, stating she was looking at the changes in her life as a ‘transition.’
