Exciting: Rhode founder Hailey Bieber is releasing a limited-edition vanilla cake Peptide Lip Treatment, next Tuesday, on her on her 26th birthday

‘So that’s what led me to the idea of classic, yummy vanilla cake. When I picked this flavor, I was thinking about when would be the right time to launch, and would it be kind of fun if it was a limited flavor, and that’s what led me to want to do it for my birthday,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar

She continued: ‘Everybody’s been so supportive and patient with Rhode, and we’re not at the place where we’re ready to launch a brand-new product, per se, so I really wanted to put something out there that was going to get people excited.’

‘We did a different color packaging, so it’s this cream-colored bottle with pink and the pink box. It’s the first birthday that I’m celebrating since Rhode has launched, and I wanted to do something that felt fun and festive, and would commemorate this time,’ the star continued.

As for her favorite cake, Hailey gushed that she loves ‘a cupcake from Magnolia Bakery’ or anything ‘that’s vanilla-on-vanilla or vanilla with a spice, like cinnamon.’

The announcement comes after fans began to take to social media to accuse her of getting lip fillers to enhance her pout.

In a recent video making its way across social media, the wife of Justin Bieber posed for the camera to show off her lustrous lips while advertising her Rhode peptide lip treatment.

But a post from Dana Omari, a popular Instagram influencer who regularly discusses celebrity cosmetic surgery transformations on her @igfamousbydana account, highlighted the fullness of Hailey’s lips and suggested that she may have used lip fillers, which she vehemently denied back in 2020.

Though she acknowledged Hailey’s denials about lip fillers, she included screenshots from the closeup clip that appeared to show a swollen line of skin extending past the redder part of Hailey’s lip, which she called a ‘filler mustache’ and suggested was evidence of injections gone awry.

‘This is filler outsider her lip line,’ Omari speculated while pointing out the line or raised skin, adding, ‘Either the filler was poorly placed outside her lips when trying to define them or the filler has migrated. A good injector would dissolve that filler mustache.’

In her caption, which also claimed that Hailey had gotten other cosmetic procedures done despite her previous denials, Omari claimed the ‘filler mustache’ was a smoking gun pointing to the use of injections.

‘A “filler mustache” is what we call when there’s filler outside the vermillion border (lip line),’ she wrote.

She said the phenomena could occur when filler is injected too close to the border of the lips to define or ‘reshape’ them, but ends up putting the hyaluronic acid on the other side of the lip line.

However, it could also be the case that people gain a ‘filler mustache’ because the filler can ‘migrate just past the border,’ which she said was ‘just a risk of the procedure’ and could occur ‘even with amazing injectors.’

She concluded by claiming that Hailey’s peptide lip treatment couldn’t give those results and said that her ‘lip fullness, smoothness and plumpness is from filler and not a lip treatment.’

In a follow-up post, Omari posted several years-old closeup photos of Hailey that didn’t appear to have same swelling over the top of her lip.

‘She never had that filler mustache y’all are saying is natural before she started filling her lips (when she was just a teen btw!),’ she captioned the collage.

Through the years: Hailey’s look and style has certainly evolved over time – she is pictured left in 2014 and right in October

Some commenters on the post defended Hailey. One user noted they had a similar ‘filler mustache’ despite having never used fillers, while another person claiming to be an injector said they had seen patients with the swelling around the lips even before their first injection.

But others seemed to believe that Hailey had not been truthful when she denied getting fillers.

‘With the needle mark still visible,’ wrote one commenter highlighting a small red dot on the edge of Hailey’s lips, which was not visible in other closeup photos of her. ‘They really think we stupid.’

‘I don’t understand why celebrities lie,’ wrote another user. ‘Like it’s not that serious it’s plastic surgery. They lie so much it’s sad.’

Another user took a more playful approach and wrote to the original poster, ‘Babe be careful, that cease and desist is en route.’

In May 2020, Dr. Daniel Barrett was hit with a cease and desist letter from attorneys for Hailey and Justin after he claimed in a video comparing 2011 and 2016 photos of her that she had gotten a nose job, as well as chin augmentation and lip fillers.

The letter claimed that Barrett used Hailey’s likeness without permission in the video, and claimed that he had ‘spread false, uncorroborated claims that Mrs. Bieber has undergone plastic surgery.’

He also ran afoul of Hailey’s husband by using Justin’s song Sorry to soundtrack the video, seemingly without permission.

Hailey has denied multiple times to having her face touched, either via plastic surgery or less invasive procedures like lip injections.

In a February 2020 interview with People, Hailey referenced her famously plump lips, but claimed that they were just an inherited trait.

‘I’m lucky to have full lips, and I have the same lip shape as my grandma,’ she claimed, adding, ‘I like to accentuate the puffiness.’

Hailey continued, complaining, ‘People always think that they’re not [natural], but look at my baby photos! They look the same.’
