A shadowy cartel known as ‘The Commission’ has warned drug dealers their families will be targeted if they continue selling cocaine at a discount price.

The standover group sent an ominous WhatsApp message to Sydney dealers recently warning them to ‘play ball and keep prices high and don’t make mistake (sic) and ruin lifes’.

The text – blasted out in capital letters – was unmistakably serious in tone and comes amidst a spate of shootings, kidnappings and assaults in the city’s underworld this year.

‘This is (a) warning to everyone landing work and screwing prices in Aus(tralia).’

‘The Commission will go after families, drivers, storoages (sic), tt (transfers), legit business.’

It concluded: ‘Play ball and keep prices high and don’t make mistakes and ruin lifes (sic). Thank You.’

Early last year the price of drugs began to rise after The Commission enforced a tax for drug shipments arriving into Sydney.

A text message was sent last year that said: ‘To ALL Main Players in Aus and Abooad who land work in Sydney/NSW.

‘As of 2021, there will be a Sydney commission that will be formed’.

The message went on to complain that the price had meth had dropped ‘because there is NO STRUCTURE, no rules, no reasoning … NO SENSE’.

NSW Police claimed cocaine had jumped by $50 a gram to $300 at the time – which they suspect was because of the tax.
