Adele finally released the highly-anticipated music video for her single I Drink Wine on Wednesday – 11 months after her album 30 came out which features the song.
The Someone Like You songstress, 34, looked incredibly glamorous in the production which saw her wistfully floating along a river, apparently a metaphor for her own passing memories, while sipping on rosé as shirtless hunks frolicked in the water around her.
The surreal Joe Talbot-directed video opened with the star in a golden Valentino dress while pouring herself a glass of wine as she watched people on the shore living their lives while synchronised swimmers danced around her.

Later in the video as the chorus approaches a hunky topless man and potential love interest swims up to Adele, trying to court her, before he’s rejected and her synchronised swimming friends push him away.
She looked incredible in the shimmering gown which featured an off-the-shoulder plunging neckline design that flowed over the sides of her float into the water.
The beauty accessorised perfectly with statement gold earrings and rings, while her hair was styled into perfect waves and her makeup was glamorously applied.

As the song then comes to an end the camera zooms to show the fictional set the video was filmed in and later captures the singer floating serenely in the pool of water surrounded by flowers.
It comes after on Tuesday evening she gave fans a first look at the new music video as she teased a glimpse of herself floating down a stream.
The clip showed a man playing an upright piano on top of a bridge over the water keying the opening notes, before the superstar singer slowly came into view, meandering down the river.

The singer has been jetting back and forth between the LA home she shares with Rich Paul and Las Vegas, where she will begin her rescheduled residency – Weekends With Adele – in November this year.
The singer announced the new dates in July, months after leaving fans thousands of pounds out of pocket when she pulled the plug on her shows with just 24 hours’ notice.
Adele had been set to open her Weekends with Adele show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace back in January but cancelled at the very last minute, leaving fans devastated over wasted money on flights and hotels.
After rescheduled dates for the gig were leaked, the singer took to Instagram in July to confirm the show will start in November as she thanked fans for their ‘patience’ and revealed that priority will be given to existing ticket holders.

Alongside a show poster she penned: ‘Words can’t explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them.
‘But after what feels like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show that I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever!
‘Now I know for some of you it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one.

The new dates come after it was reported that the Easy On Me hitmaker had been motivated to ‘push forward’ with rescheduling her Sin City shows after returning to the stage for two sell-out gigs at Hyde Park in London at the beginning of July.
A source told The Sun: ‘Adele loved performing in London and it gave her the drive to push forward with her Vegas residency.

‘Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible.’
