Hey Kate, Sgt Pepper’s asked for his jacket back! Supermodel Moss, 48, rocks military-style tunic that harks back to The Beatles’ iconic album cover as she tucks into her lunch
For more than three decades, Kate Moss has been at the cutting edge of fashion – but she went back 55 years for her latest look, with a jacket that could have come straight out of The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper era.
The supermodel was spotted wearing this braided turquoise military-style tunic as she went for lunch with a pal in West London last week, and it immediately invited comparison to the bright satin outfits the Fab Four wore for the cover of their groundbreaking 1967 album.
However, Ms Moss paired it with a navy Yves Saint Laurent bag that you never saw John, Paul, George or Ringo with – as well as a pair of pink tinted sunglasses.

She also had a large floral suitcase with her as she dined outside Notting Hill’s trendy Italian restaurant Brasseria with her friend Liam Thornton.
While he drank beer, the formerly hard-living supermodel, who’s now teetotal, stuck to water and cigarettes.
At one point the 48-year-old – who is a huge fan of The Beatles and is friends with Sir Paul McCartney and his fashion designer daughter Stella – got caught in an embarrassing pose as she wiped her nose with the back of her hand.
For the rest of the meal she made for lively company as she and Mr Thornton laughed together. She even jumped around and danced in the street before walking off with him.

She is believed to have met Mr Thornton through her boyfriend Nikolai von Bismarck.
She is rumoured to be engaged to the 35-year-old Anglo-German photographer, but a ring she was previously spotted wearing on her engagement finger was nowhere to be seen last week.
But that’s surely no reason for her to be joining the Lonely Hearts Club Band…
