Aussie social media star sneaks into UFC 284 in Perth for free in a seat that would cost THOUSANDS after mocking up fake media accreditation…and he wants to do it again!

  •  Social media star scammed his way into UFC 284
  •  Michael Todoro mocked up his own media pass
  •  Todoro walked out alongside Alex Volkanovski

An Aussie YouTuber has mocked up a fake media pass and filmed himself blagging his way past security at Perth‘s RAC Arena to sit ringside at UFC 284 in a seat worth thousands of dollars.

Michael Todoro, known as MikeyT, pulled off the scam over the weekend at one of the most high profile sporting events in the country, rubbing shoulders with UFC stars like Alex Volkanovski.

‘We literally just walked straight in and there were no questions asked or nothing — we were just sitting along ringside with the other media crew,’ Todoro told 7NEWS.

In a video clip he posted to YouTube, Todoro claims that tickets sold out for the event ‘in like ten seconds’ so he was only left with one option – to sneak into the event.

Todoro also explains how he found a photo of a media pass and lanyard and had somebody he knows mock up a replica.

The YouTuber, who sat an area where seats can cost as much as $3,578, got backstage at the event and even was allowed to walkout with Aussie stars Justin Tafa and featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski.

After the event Todoro sat in his car and recorded himself reacting to how his scam played out.

‘I’m incredibly lost for words on how that all just played out. I originally had this thought that I’d sneak into the event and whatnot,’ he said.

‘The fact how we managed to do all those things and get literally ringside, go backstage and even walk out with the two main event people – that was just incredible.’

When asked if he’d attempt a similar stunt again Todoro answered straight away.

‘A hundred per cent, yeah.’

Todoro’s fans on social media were very impressed by his scam, and admired his courage at pulling it off.

‘Absolutely killed it, brother. Blended in so well, no one thought of anything suspicious,’ said one user.

‘I don’t think UFC will use the same security contractors for the next UFC in Perth,’ said another.

‘RESPECT! I hope this video gets the recognition it deserves,’ commented a third.

‘This video is gonna catapult your YouTube career. I congratulate you sir,’ added another.

The main event bout between Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev was one of the biggest combat sport showdowns to take place on Australian soil – and one that will be remembered by fight fans for years to come.

The Russian denied Volkanovski triumph on home soil by winning the blockbuster main event by a unanimous decision 28-27, 28-27, 29-26.

The loss was the Australian’s first in the UFC after 22 straight wins, but Volkanovski insisted he felt he won the fight.
