Wyclef Jean tells fans he’s on the mend after hospitalization due to stress and exhaustion: ‘Be back soon…’
Wyclef Jean took to Instagram Monday to tell fans he will ‘be back soon’ after a stint in the hospital amid stress-related exhaustion.
The musical artist, 53, earlier this week was seen in a clip on the social media site in which he narrated in a medical gown as he was being wheeled into a room.
‘Alright, they’re taking me to the room now, I’ve never stayed in the hospital overnight …. should be fun though,’ Jean said through a face mask in the clip.
He captioned the clip, ‘Sometimes we forget our body is our temple. Be back soon.’
The Haiti-born entertainer told TMZ that he was traveling from Miami to Los Angeles when he began to experience facial numbness on his right side.

The Fugees artist told the outlet that he sought medical attention from his family doctor, who directed him to visit a emergency room.
The Grammy winner told the outlet that his overnight stint in the hospital was for medical staff to conduct tests his doctor asked for.
The Gone till November vocalist told the outlet that early indicators pointed to stress-related exhaustion.
Jean sent his gratitude to his fans and said he is currently resting at home with more tests on tap for next week. On Instagram on Monday, he posted text that read ‘Be back soon.’
Jean had been in Florida working on promotion for the Attucks Apex AP0, a lightweight electric supercar that is made with a carbon fiber monocoque, Newsweek reported.
Manufacturers said the vehicle can travel at speeds of up to 190 miles per hour and accelerate from 0 to 60 in 2.3 seconds.
Jean had promoted the vehicle March 5 at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island Country and Golf Course in Amelia Island, Florida.
The musical artist, who has a collection of vehicles, collaborated on the car with Supercar Room Miami owners Elo.
