Whoopi Goldberg silenced a rowdy audience on The View today after they booed Kellyanne Conway for attacking Joe Biden

She cut the political consultant off mid-sentence before hushing the guests and telling them not to jibe her as she promoted her new book, ‘Here’s the Deal.’        

Meanwhile, she also had to referee a no holds barred debate between Conway and felling co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin.

The pair locked horns over Conway’s second term in the White House and repeatedly talked over one another during the frosty exchange. 

Both women had worked in the White House during the former President’s Trump in office.

Conway was Trump’s campaign manager when he was running for office in 2016 and then became his senior counselor once he became president. Farah Griffin joined the administration in 2001 when she became the was a White House spokesperson

During the broadcast, both women sparred over the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 insurrection on the U.S. Capitol.

‘I swore an oath to the Constitution, not to Donald Trump,’ Griffin said. 

‘As we all did,’ Conway replied.

She continued:  ‘There was a lot wrong with the 2020 campaign’ and said that Griffin’s former boss, Mark Meadows, was ‘a terrible chief of staff’ due to him having ‘not match the moment for a global pandemic, a re-election campaign.’

Griffin shot back: ‘Neither did Donald Trump.’

 At one point, Farah told Conway she once ‘admired’ her when Conway had worked for the former Vice President, Mike Pence before the interrogating began.

 ‘How do you still defend him? Do you still think he could be a good president after he tried to overturn our democracy?’

‘I left three months before you did, for my children, I have four of them. I said less drama more mama,’ Conway said. ‘And that’s exactly what I did. I think you stayed a whole month after the election that you were having a problem with.’

Griffin quipped: ‘I wanted to help my junior staff get jobs.’

‘I stayed for three weeks after ‘I think people should know that because I haven’t seen you since you changed, But I want to say this to you…’

Before she clarified her point, Conway jumped saying that she didn’t ‘want to argue.’

The audience disapproval hit a a high note when Conway began to share her angst in the loss of her former boss during the 2020 election.  

‘He had all these accomplishments and was running against a guy who was stuck in the basement,’ in reference to President Biden.

While Goldberg reminded audience members what the show is about: ‘Listen, this is ‘The View.’ And she’s talking about her view and how she feels about things.’ 

She continued: ‘Please don’t boo her.’

Conway, appeared to take it in stride, and told Goldberg:  ‘I think it was me saying it was Biden staying in the basement that was the problem.’

The book covers Conway’s early years, her political career, raising four children, twins Claudia and George, and daughters Charlotte and Vanessa, whom she calls ‘the four chambers of my heart. Her marriage to attorney, George Conway, whom she wed in 2001, and the impact her mother Diane, a single mother, had on her, People reported.
