A Virgin Australia pilot has been forced to leave the cockpit and wrestle with an enraged passenger before booting him off the flight.

The pilot had to physically shove the aggressive man off the plane after a ‘fierce’ air hostess also took him on when he refused to cooperate.

The plane was due to depart from Townsville Airport in Queensland but appeared to be delayed after the man, who a passenger claimed ‘had one too many’, refused to accept his fate.

In a video uploaded to TikTok on Wednesday, the man was heard arguing with staff as shocked passengers recorded the altercation on their phones.

The man, who wore yellow crocs and a bucket hat, was told “You’re off mate” as he struggled against the pilot and continued to protest.

The air hostess and a member of the public then helped the pilot push him towards the doors and off the plane.

‘Don’t f***ing touch me you stupid c***,’ the man was heard yelling from outside.

The female air hostess then raised her finger in a warning to the unruly passenger as the pilot told the young man to ‘stop swearing’.

A man on the flight uploaded footage of the wild moment to TikTok on Wednesday with the caption: ‘One too many mate’.

Viewers were quick to applaud the crew for how they handled the situation.

‘Damn crew did amazing, they shouldn’t have to deal with this… that female flight attendant was fiercely awesome,’ one wrote.

A flight attendant suggested the man be placed on a ‘no fly’ list.

‘Well done to the crew, even though we’re trained for this, it’s still awful to deal with,’ she commented.
