Shocking new footage has been released of the beatdown of a man at a Las Vegas nightclub.
NFL stars Alvin Kamara and Chris Lammons were indicted by a grand jury last week in connection with the incident, which occurred in The Cromwell Hotel and Casino a year ago.
Kamara was arrested in February 2022, immediately after playing in the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas for an alleged battery that took place hours before the game.
Now, in surveillance video acquired by 8 News Now, it is more clear what happened in the brawl in a hallway of Drai’s After Hours nightclub, situated in the basement of the hotel, shortly before 6.30am.
KLAS reported that the incident began when Kamara put his hand on the man’s chest to prevent him from getting into an elevator with the group and escalated when the man pushed away Kamara’s hand.Â

In the clips – from two different angles – a group of people can be seen making their way down the corridor, with two men initially appearing to attack a third. More individuals follow the group, with a further two men joining in the beatdown.
After one particularly brutal punch, the alleged victim of the assault –Â Darnell Greene, of Houston, Texas – seemingly hits his head on the wall, before being pushed to the ground.
One individual can then be seen repeatedly kicking him while on the floor. It is not immediately clear who is who in the clip.
Kamara, Lammons and two other men face charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.Â
Greene filed a lawsuit seeking over $10million in damages in October, and claims the beating left him with disfigurements and mental anguish.Â
A Clark County grand jury found enough evidence to proceed with charges in the February 5, 2022, alleged incident during the NFL’s Pro Bowl weekend.Â
According to police, video evidence shows Kamara punching a man eight times.Â

The alleged victim was knocked unconscious and sustained an orbital fracture to his right eye, police said. After the man fell, he was allegedly stomped on by others in Kamara’s group.
Last week, a Nevada grand jury indicted New Orleans Saints running back Kamara, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Lammons and two other men in connection with the incident. A court date was set for March 2.Â
‘The state has avoided a contested preliminary hearing by indicting Mr. Kamara,’ attorneys David Chesnoff, Drew Findling and Richard Schonfeld said in a statement, according to KLAS.Â
‘He intends to vigorously fight the allegations at trial as he was defending himself and others at the time of the incident.’
Both Kamara and Lammons played in the NFL last season as the league continued an investigation into the allegations.
