The great and the good of TV were out in force on Monday night as they attended the 2022 TV Choice Awards held at  the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Leading the glamour was Christine McGuinness, Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Katherine Ryan and Denise Van Outen who all turned heads in stylish ensembles as they graced the star-studded carpet.

While Christine looked amazing in a form-fitting, busty black jumpsuit, her fellow stars opted for glitzy dresses as they posed for the cameras at the TV event. 

The model, 34, beamed as she rocked the fitted outfit which featured a plunging neckline, collar detail and feathered cuffs.

Christine teamed her jumpsuit with pointed black heels and delicate silver jewellery, while her blonde tresses were perfectly blow-dried for the evening. 

Meanwhile, Ekin-Su had all eyes on her as she slipped into a slinky champagne coloured dress for the evening.

The negligee-style dress skimmed over her toned figure and highlighted her cleavage, with the Love Island winner teaming the number with a cream feathered clutch bag and gold earrings.

The the busty, metallic number clung to Denise’s curves in all the right places, with the star teaming the gown with strappy black heels and a selection of silver jewellery.

Her blonde locks were styled into a centre-parting, while she upped the glam with a sleek make-up palette. 

Meanwhile, Katherine , 39, showcased her growing baby bump in a shimmering semi-sheer blue dress with cold shoulder detailing.

The comedienne proudly displayed her burgeoning stomach beneath the sheer material off her dress, which she teamed with black heels and a fluffy black handbag.

Katherine was joined at the event by her dapper husband Bobby Kootstra, with whom she’s expecting her second child.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas wowed in a midnight blue one-shouldered velvet gown  walked the carpet. Shirley, 62, looked sensational in the figure-hugging ruched dress, which featured a sparkling embellished trim and a split that allowed her to flash a glimpse of her toned legs.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Joey, 32, looked dapper in a black dinner suit and matching shirt as he posed with Vanessa, who gently rested her hand on his chest amid rumours the pair are ‘growing close’.

Figure skater Vanessa, 26, put on a glamorous display as she cosied-up to Joey, wearing an ice blue backless dress which was adorned with glistening sequins.

Leading the nominations this year’s event are Netflix drama Bridgerton, with three nods following its second season earlier this year.

The popular programme joins shows including Outlander, All Creatures Great and Small and Death In Paradise in the Best Drama Series category, while This Is Going To Hurt’s Ben Whishaw and Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer are recognised in Best Actor and Best Actress respectively.

Alongside a nod for Best Drama Series, Bridgerton has also been nominated for Best Actor (Jonathan Bailey), and Best Actress (Simone Ashley).

Ben has been nominated for Best Actor for his acclaimed performance as junior doctor Adam Kay in This Is Going To Hurt, and he will battle it out with Bridgerton’s Jonathan, Call The Midwife’s Daniel Laurie and Peaky Blinders’ Cillian Murphy. 

Meanwhile Jodie is up for Best Actress after Killing Eve’s final season aired earlier this year, nominated against Bridgerton star Simone, The Split’s Nicola Walker and Call The Midwife star Jenny Agutter.

and Steph’s Packed Lunch in the Best Daytime Show category.

Over in the world of soap, four serial dramas earned nominations in the main category: Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Neighbours.

EastEnders’ Max Bowden and Danny Dyer, Emmerdale star Mark Charnock and Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall landed nods for Best Soap Actor.

In Best Soap Actress, EastEnders’ Kellie Bright and Gillian Wright, Coronation Street’s Sally Carman, and Emmerdale’s Paige Sandhu are nominated.

Meanwhile, this year’s ceremony introduces a brand new category – Best Comedy Performance – which celebrates the incredible talent bringing laughter to our screens.

Hoping to take home the debut award are Ricky Gervais for his performance in After Life, Brenda Blethyn for Kate & Koji, Siobhán McSweeney for Derry Girls and Lee Mack for his role in Not Going Out. 

Best Food Show and Best Lifestyle Show are among other awards up for grabs at the event, which this year is taking place in person for the first time, after last year’s event was hosted virtually due to ongoing Covid restrictions.

Fans will be able to tune in as the action takes place, with the glitzy ceremony being broadcast live via TV Choice’s official social channels, while the red carpet action will be available to watch  from 6pm.

Jon Peake, Editor of TV Choice magazine commented of the awards: ‘It’s a real thrill to see such a diverse range of talent among the nominations this year, as well as some established favourites.

Last year’s awards saw Line Of Duty and Coronation Street  come out on top with three gongs each, with Bridgerton and Gogglebox also faring well.
