The premiere of Luca Guadagnino’s cannibal romance Bones And All starring Timothee Chalamet caused quite the commotion in Milan, Italy.
Local police ended up closing down all the red carpet activities outside the Space Cinema Odeon as a safety precaution due to the massive crowd of fans that came out to get a glimpse of the young American star, according to Variety.
Although some members of the press were turned away and Chalamet did not partake in interviews, the premiere went on as scheduled, albeit in a smaller capacity.
Chalamet, 26, also attended the photocall event for Bones And All, which included some of the other cast and crew.

The Oscar-nominated actor looked more like a rock star than a movie star when he stepped out in front of photographers in an all-black ensemble consisting of leather pants and a sleeve-less pinstripe top.
The shirt looked more like a vest with long matching fabric that hung down his chest and past his knees like a scarf.
He also accessorized with a number of rings and bracelets on both hands.
Rounding out his look, the New York City native also sported a pair of shiny black-heeled leather boots, and had his dark brown styled with plenty of natural waves and curls down over his ears and forehead.

At a certain point, Chalamet welcomed his Bones and All co-star Taylor Russell on to the red carpet for a round of photos together.
Initially, the leading man wrapped his left arm around the Canadian actress, who was decked out in all-black herself, consisting of flared pants and a cropped blazer that was worn without a shirt underneath.
The Vancouver, British Columbia native, 28, had her raven tresses in a bob cut, with her hair pushed back over her left ear and part on the slight left.

The snap appears to have been taken during the shoot of the cannibal romance, considering the acclaimed actor was still sporting the red hair he had in the film.
The rising actress threw her arms around her co-star in the picture, which he uploaded with the caption: ‘tnt,’ short for: ”Til next time.’
Chalamet then took the show to his Instagram Stories to reveal the same throwback has been used for the cover of the French magazine Technikart.

The movie made its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival in September, where it won the Silver Lion for best direction, while Russell earned the Marcello Mastroianni Award for best young actor or actress.
Written by David Kajganich, Bones And All follows cannibalistic lovers Maren and Lee, played by Chalamet and Russell, as they embark on a road trip across the United States in the era of the 1980s.
The coming-of-age romantic cannibal horror film also stars Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Chloë Sevigny, David Gordon Green, Jessica Harper, Jake Horowitz, Anna Cobb, Kendle Coffey and Adam Sandler.

Plugging their new movie in Technikart, Chalamet described the main characters’ relationship as an ‘amour fou’ and a ‘pure love, very mature.’
As for Russell, she noted that Chalamet and Guadagnino had previously formed a ‘family’ during the shoot for the film Call Me By Your Name while she was ‘the new arrival.’
However she referenced how ‘Timmy helped me feel at ease, like I was a part of this beautiful family. It’s really important in filming to feel loved, accepted.’

Bones And All is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 18.
