‘I love being an uncle. I did say to Tim, “Would you be interested in going down the road of having kids?”‘ he revealed.

‘Then when your siblings start having kids and you see what goes on, I’m like, “Maybe I’ll just hold off a second. I might just wait and see how this pans out for them”.’Â Â
Anthony and his husband Tim are set to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary this month.
The singer married his long-term beau in a romantic ceremony in New Zealand in November 2014. Â
Husband Tim opted for a pair of thigh-skimming shorts, tight white t-shirt and a blazer for the party, which was held in a Melbourne high rise Â
The hitmaker said that the couple didn’t want to wait for Australia to legalise same-sex marriages so they tied the knot in New Zealand.
‘We didn’t want to wait to recognise our relationship so we went ”stuff it, we’re going to go to New Zealand and we’re going to get married there”,’ he told TheFix.
The singer revealed they would have preferred to have their ceremony in Australia, but weren’t willing to wait for marriage equality legislation to pass. Â

‘I feel as though we’re more progressive than our own government so I’m not going to wait for them,’ Anthony explained.
He confirmed his sexuality in 2007, three years after placing second to Casey Donovan on season two of Australian Idol.
He told fans via his website: ‘For some, “coming out” isn’t a big issue. For me it was.
‘Others say you should just be honest with yourself. Well, that is easier said than done.’
