Travellers at Sydney Airport are experiencing major delays due to airlines being short-staffed, and an influx of flyers due to the Easter holiday rush.Â
‘This is the line into the airport today, trying to get to Melbourne for our show,’ Jessica said, filming the long queue to get into the domestic terminal.
She added:Â ‘Lisa has thrown down with two sets of rude people already at the airport this morning…Â so ya’ll be better ready for a fire show.’Â Â
The Veronicas, known for their hits Untouched, 4ever and Hook Me Up, eventually made it to Melbourne, where they hit the stage at The Palais.

The sisters are on a national tour with dates all around the country.Â
It’s not the first time the Origliassos have had dramas at the airport.
In 2019, the duo were escorted off a Qantas flight from Sydney to Brisbane after the airline claimed they ‘were disruptive and refused to follow crew instructions’.

The identical twin sisters countered that they were unable to adjust their bags in an overhead locker and asked for help from Qantas staff.
However they claim they were told cabin crew weren’t allowed to touch customers’ bags and so were assisted by a fellow passenger instead.
At the time, Jess and Lisa tweeted that ‘the police were called because we asked for the crew’s names, and instead of giving them to us, they told us they were calling “security”. We had no idea what was going on.’
They were subsequently reinstated on a later flight.
