The Marvelous Mrs Maisel will be returning on Amazon Prime on April 14.

When the season ends, the world will bid farewell to Midge, Susie, Joel, Abe, Rose, Shirley and Moishe.

The fifth season will be its last one.

Series lead Rachel Brosnahan, 32, – who was spotted in during filming of the last season –  commented on the end of the show in November.

‘That’s a series wrap on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’ Brosnahan, 32, wrote at the time. ‘This thing was lightning in a bottle. A cast, a crew and creators who got to time travel for five years together. It changed my life. I’m eternally grateful. I’ll have more words later, but for now…Thank you and goodnight.’

The award-winning series was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who was also the creative mind behind other hit shows such as the Gilmore Girls. She serves as an executive producer on the beloved show, along with Daniel Palladino.

And the series’ creators have known exactly how the series – and Midge – would end up since they wrapped production on the fourth season.

Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Reid Scott, Alfie Fuller and Jason Ralph also star in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

‘And they’ve given us so much do to, and so much to play with. So it’s been as much of a roller-coaster as ever and I can’t wait to share it with everyone,’ she added when giving a small teaser of what the last season would entail.
