The owner of an excluisive restaurant in The Hamptons on New York’s Long Island is offering a massive chunk of money to US Rep. George Santos if he agrees to perform in a drag show.Â
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, 75 Main owner Zach Erdem said the recent photos allegedly showing the New York Republican dressed as a woman inspired him to make the $100,000 offer.Â
Despite the Republican congressmember denying he ever performed as drag queen Kitara in Brazil in 2008 as has been reported and corroborated by former friends of the politician, Erdem said the offer still stands.Â
‘He looks better as a woman than a man,’ said Erdem.Â
The restaurant owned by Erdem became incredibly popular thanks to the Discovery+ show ‘Serving the Hamptons.’ The establishment is now consistently booked out weeks in advance with potential patrons flashing cash and buying jewelry for hostesses just to get seated.Â
Despite denying it, internet sleuths appear to have discovered that Santos –Â who is claimed to be pictured here dressed in drag in 2007 – confirmed it himself in a 2011 post on Wikipedia

The congressman has faced calls to resign over a growing list of inconsistencies regarding his resume and his life experiences, including claims that his mother was in the South Tower on 9/11 and that he graduated from Baruch College.Â
It was the seemingly unending list of irregularities in Santos’ past that prompted Erdem to make the offer, which would take place in the summer.Â
The restaurateur said he believes calls for Santos to resign will continue as will potential legal troubles for the New York lawmaker.Â
Erdem told DailyMail.com he thinks the congressman has opened himself up to several lawsuits and could soon be in need of some extra cash.
‘Might as well offer him $100,000,’ Erdem said. ‘It’s a good offer for him, he won’t be in D.C. long.’Â

Erdem said the position, which would include free food, drinks, and housing, would require Santos to stay be free Thursday nights for the restaurant’s weekly drag show.
The offer is highly lucrative and and 100 percent real.Â
The owner told DailyMail.com he hopes Santos truly considers the job considering he may not be employed long-term in Washington.Â
‘He is a criminal, you don’t want someone in that office who has no credibility,’ he said, discussing the ever-growing list of lies Santos has told.
One of the most egregious accusations against the sitting congressman alleges he swindled a disabled veteran out of medical dollars for his sick dog.Â
NY Rep. George Santos has responded to photos and videos which appear to show him dressed as a drag queen in Brazil, saying that he was just ‘young’ and having ‘fun at a festival’
‘He doesn’t deserve to be in the office, it’s really embarrassing,’ Erdem continued.Â
To sweeten the deal for the embattled politician, Erdem is also offering to give a portion of the ticket sales to charities.Â
The owner said the money would go to either a charity benefitting either children or animals, two things he is passionate about.Â
He also said he has no stipulations as to what the congressman would have to perform in the restaurant, and would give him complete autonomy just for the opportunity to get him in the door and have the show go on.Â
75 Main has become one of the hottest spots in the elite New York city after Discovery+ released the series ‘Serving the Hamptons,’ beginning in 2022.
‘He is a criminal, you don’t want someone in that office who has no credibility,’ Erdem said, discussing the ever-growing list of lies Santos has told
According to Page Six, the guest list for the first season included notable names like Kendall Jenner, Ivana Trump, Paris Hilton, Brooke Shields, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, billionaire John Catsimatidis, and Anthony Scaramucci.
‘Everyone keeps calling me the male, East coast version of [SUR founder] Lisa Vanderpump,’ said Erdem, a Turkish immigrant who began as a dishwasher at the restaurant.
‘I started out homeless [in America], no friends, no money. The show will focus on coming from zero and making this life. This is the only country in the world this can happen,’ the owner said.
In 2021, Erdem told Insider his restaurant had become so popular that reservations were booked out weeks in advance and people were resorting to extremes to get a table.Â

Santos lashed out against claims that he once performed as a drag queen in Brazil
It’s an interesting and clearly very serious offer for Santos who has sworn up and down that he is not a former drag queen, despite reporting to the contrary.Â
Last week, a Wikipedia post surfaced which appears to show the NY Rep. confirming that he had performed as a drag queen.
That confirmation came after he vehemently denied the drag allegations.Â
‘The most recent obsession from the media claiming that I am a drag Queen or ‘performed’ as a drag Queen is categorically false,’ Santos said in a tweet.Â
‘The media continues to make outrageous claims about my life while I am working to deliver results,’ Santos continued, saying he’s neither ‘distracted nor fazed.’Â
Santos, who is under growing pressure to resign, said that claims that he ‘performed’ as a drag queen named Kitara Ravache in Brazil circa 2008 ‘false’
This photo emerged on Wednesday, alleging that Santos, now 34, is depicted cross dressing in 2008
The aforementioned Wikipedia post also claims he had parts in the Disney Channel series ‘Hannah Montana’ and movie ‘The Invasion.’Â
Video obtained by DailyMail.com purportedly depicts Santos, speaking in Portuguese, listing off the venues at which he did ‘presentations’ – all of them being prominent drag venues around Rio de Janeiro.Â
While he may have once been part of the drag race community, it doesn’t appear he has been accepted some of the most notable members.Â
Earlier this week, Santos got into a spat with ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ winner Trixie Mattel after he tweeted about how he was disappointed to see ‘TERRIBLE’ impressions of him on several late-night shows.Â
In the last few days, Santos has been spoofed by Nelson Franklin on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ Harvey Guillen on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ and Jon Lovitz on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.’Â
‘I have now been enshrined in late-night TV history with all these impersonations, but they are all TERRIBLE so far,’ Santos said on Twitter.Â
‘Jon Lovitz is supposed to be one of the greatest comedians of all time and that was embarrassing — for him not me,’ the congressman wrote. ‘These comedians need to step their game up.’Â
That’s when Trixie Mattel stepped in.Â
‘Maybe the source material was weak,’ Mattel responded in a tweet which has since received nearly 30,000 likes.Â
Santos shot back at the drag queen, responding with an animated GIF of Mattel impersonating RuPaul while on the show.Â
‘Clearly you know all about weak acting skills,’ he wrote.  Â
Mattel then sent back a taste of the congressman’s own medicine, responding:Â ‘I am not an actor! I was young and I had fun at a festival!’
