The Block’s Josh Packham basks in the sun at Beyond the Valley after ‘worst gastro’ ever

Josh Packham’s debilitating case of diarrhoea has cleared up in time for him to attend the Beyond The Valley festival in Victoria on New Year’s Day.

The Block star, 28, shared a gallery of snaps and videos to Instagram on Sunday capturing him having the time of his life at the annual music festival.

One photo captures an effortlessly stylish Josh sitting on the ground leaning on a fence post with a drink in his hand and a big smile on his face.

Josh looks every inch the party boy in a red and brown t-shirt, denim cut-offs and white sneakers.

‘Thank you @beyondthevalleyfest. What a way to bring in the new year,’ he wrote next to the photos.

Many of Josh’s 156,000 followers were quick to express their relief he was on the mend.

One follower cheekily asked, ‘Did you wear a nappy just in case?’ while another joked he was ‘looking sick (the good sick in this instance)’. 

It comes after the reality star took to Instagram on Thursday and revealed he had ‘the worst gastro’ he’s ever experienced.

Saying it was worse than even ‘Bali belly’, Packham revealed he had rescheduled his flights for Beyond The Valley for Friday but doubted he would recover in time.

Josh had the time of his life dancing to the lively music at the annual music festival

‘[I’ve got] terrible temperatures, stomach pains like you wouldn’t believe. I’m vomiting non-stop. Diarrhoea,’ he told his followers as he laid back in his bed. 

Packham, who came second in 2021’s season of The Block with his twin brother Luke, went on to say he likely wouldn’t be leaving the house anytime soon.

‘I could be having New Years sitting on the couch or in bed because that’s the only two places I can be right now. Oh, and the toilet of course,’ he said.
