Teenager being hunted by police over fatal high street stabbing after officers arrest boys, 14 and 17, on suspicion of murder

A teenager is being hunted by police on suspicion of murder after a 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed in south-east London last week.
George David, 16, is wanted by the Met Police in connection to the death of Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov, 21, in Downham on November 4.
The manhunt comes after two boys, ages 14 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of murder.Â
Police have warned that David should not be approached by members of the public, but released a photo of him and encourage anyone who sees him to call 999.
David, from Downham, has links to Bromley and Orpington in south-east London.Â
Investigators believe the teen is being ‘hidden or moved’ by people he knows. Officers have warned they will arrest and prosecute anyone working against their efforts to locate David.

Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: ‘Two arrests have been made as part of our investigation but we urgently need to speak to George David.Â
‘Officers from across the Met are working to trace him.Â

‘George, my message directly to you is that you must attend a police station immediately.Â
‘We believe it’s possible George is being hidden or moved around by people he knows.Â
‘My message to those people is that if you are working to frustrate our enquiries you should be very much aware of the trouble you could find yourself in.Â
‘We will seek to arrest and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.’Â
A murder investigation was launched after Mr Stoyanov was stabbed in Bromley Road, Downham following an incident at 11.50pm on Friday, November 4.Â
Police and ambulance workers attended and found the 21-year-old suffering from a stab injury. He was taken to hospital but died the following afternoon.Â
A 14-year-old was boy arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder, while a 17-year-old boy was arrested today on suspicion of the same count.
Both remain in custody and are being questioned by officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Allen said: ‘This arrest shows the progress our investigation is making but there is still work to be done.Â
‘One suspect remains outstanding and my team continues to pursue lines of enquiry to ensure they will be arrested. My message to that individual is clear – you know who you are and what you have done, and I would advise you to attend a police station at the earliest possible time before police find you.
‘I would also continue to ask anyone with information that could assist us in our enquiry to come forward immediately.’
A murder investigation was launched after Gabriel was stabbed in Bromley Road, Downham following an incident shortly before midnight on Friday, 4 November.
Officers attended along with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service.
They found 21-year-old Gabriel suffering stab injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment but died during the afternoon of Saturday, 5 November.
