Married At First Sight star brushes off steroid rumours after a photo surfaces of him with HUGE arm muscles

A former Married At First Sight groom has offered an ambiguous response after a fan asked if he once used steroids during his bodybuilding days.

An old photo surfaced on Instagram this week of Cameron Dunne looking almost unrecognisable with huge arms and very muscular shoulders while posing in singlet.

Cameron, who had a brief fling with Coco Stedman on season eight of MAFS, captioned the throwback snap: ‘Flashback to when hair wasn’t the only thing I could grow.’

The photo, which showed a markedly bigger Cameron sporting enormous muscles, drew a mixed reaction from fans.

Some suggested the crane operator may have taken steroids to reach that size – an accusation he did not explicitly deny.

‘Roids or natural?’ commented one follower.

Cameron responded with two eyeball emojis.

The Queenslander, 34, has been open about his bodybuilding days, which pre-date his appearance on MAFS by several years.

He once competed on the IFBB Pro League circuit, and has spoken of taking bodybuilding seriously for more than a decade.

At one stage, Cameron reached a peak weight of a 115kg before quitting the sport and returning to a more natural physique.
