Susanna Reid has revealed the ‘excellent’ weight loss tip that was given to her by world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.

During Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain, the presenter, 51, told how the sportsman, 33, advised her to stop putting milk in his coffee, with Tyson using his own advice to help him shed the pounds.

Susanna previously lost an incredible two stone prior to the coronavirus lockdown by cutting alcohol from her diet, but recently she admitted to gaining some weight again after suffering with a ‘lockdown slump’.

Speaking to co-star Richard Madeley ahead of Tyson’s interview, she said: ‘I once asked him how to loose weight – we have history me and Tyson – because he did this remarkable thing where he lost a huge amount of weight and got himself back fighting fit.

‘And I said what was the key and he said, “Susanna you just have to give up milk in your coffee – you’re drinking too much milk in your coffee”.’

Then holding up her coffee mug, she then added: ‘So just to confirm – it’s completely black this morning.’
