Survivor star and former AFL player David Zaharakis puts his Melbourne party house with indoor basketball court, pool and theatre room on the market for $4.1M

Survivor star David Zaharakis is selling his Lower Plenty home in Melbourne.

The ex-Essendon player, 32, has put the four-bedroom party house on the market with an asking range of $3.8-4.1million.

The split-level property has seen celebrity gatherings of up to 170 people, including Grand Final celebrations and birthday parties.

Featuring an indoor basketball and squash court, theatre room, pool, and a bar in the billiards room, the house was certainly made for entertaining.

‘I love the entertaining aspect of the home, it is an entertainer’s paradise,’ the Survivor star told realestate.com.au.

‘I had my 30th at this house and there were roughly 170 people present throughout the night. Parties around the pool are perfect when the back yard and pool lights are lit up at night.

‘I’ve had a huge house-warming party, my 30th birthday, Grand Final days, Melbourne Cup, Christmas Day, NYE, Survivor premiere – you name the event and I’ve probably had a party at my house because of it.’

Morrison Kleeman real estate agent Craig Parker is selling the property with expressions of interest listed to close at 5pm on February 21.

It comes as the hunky former footy player joins the line-up of Survivor stars in Heroes Vs Villains.

Despite playing on the side of heroes, he said when it comes to playing Survivor there is no line he isn’t willing to cross.

He joins a star-studded cast featuring writer and broadcaster Benjamin Law and two-time Olympian Liz Parnov.

They will join Champions vs Contenders 2’s Shaun Hampson, Brains vs Brawn’s Simon Mee, Flick Palmateer, George Mladenov, and Hayley Leake among others.
