With their network of paths, junctions and dead ends, mazes have fascinated people since the first labyrinths were invented thousands of years ago.

The most famous labyrinth is found in Greek legend; Theseus killed the man-eating Minotaur at the heart of the labyrinth and then found his way out again using Ariadne’s ball of golden thread.

Snowlandia is located in the upper part of Zakopane, on the right side of the ski jumping hill Wielka Krokiew, at the very border of the Tatra National Park in Poland.

You enter via the castle at the beginning of the maze and the aim is to complete the maze to be able to climb the castle at the end for beautiful views over Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains.
