The movie, which she has called Lawless, is a collaboration with her new husband, porn star Barrett Blade.

Daniels will star in the film, but is also touting the project as her ‘directorial debut’.

Last week, she met with Manhattan federal prosecutors via Zoom to give evidence about her 2006 meeting with Trump and the $130,000 she was paid ten years later ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

She claims she slept with Trump in 2006 after meeting him at a celebrity golf course. He was newly married at the time to former First Lady Melania Trump.

In 2016, Daniels was paid $130,000 by Trump-attorney Michael Cohen in exchange for her silence over their alleged dalliance.

Trump denies ever sleeping with her and says he had no knowledge of the payment.

Now, he is facing a grand jury indictment in New York.

It’s unclear what specific charges the jury are considering but they are understood to relate to campaign finance laws, and whether or not Trump broke any.

The Manhattan DA’s probe into the payment has been widely criticized by many Republicans who deem it a witch hunt.

Trump himself is urging his fans to protest if he is put in handcuffs.

If he is taken into custody, he will be fingerprinted and have his mugshot taken like other suspects.

Ron DeSantis, who is widely considered to be Trump’s main opponent in the race for the Republican nomination, was among those to slam Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and his decision to pursue charges today.

‘He, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponize their office to impose a political agenda on society at the expense of the rule of law and public safety.

‘He has downgraded over 50 percent of the felonies to misdemeanors. He says he doesn’t want to even have jail time for the vast, vast majority of crimes.

‘What I can speak to, is that if you have a prosecutor who is ignoring crimes happening every single day in his jurisdiction, and he chooses to go back many, many years ago, to try to use something about porn star hush money payments.

‘You know, that’s an example of pursuing a political agenda and weaponizing the office,’ he said.

Trump himself wrote on Truth social: ‘Even Democrats don’t like what’s going on with the Manhattan D.A. This is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt of all time!

‘There was no “misdemeanor” here either. There was no crime, period. All other of the many Democrat law enforcement officers that looked at it, took a pass.

‘So did Cy Vance, and so did Bragg. But then, much latter, he changed his mind. Gee, I wonder why? Prosecutorial Misconduct and Interference with an Election. Investigate the Investigators!’ he fumed.
