Steps stars Faye Tozer and Claire Richards were among the star-studded arrivals at the LGBT Awards at The Brewery in London on Friday night.

The two singers opted to match their looks by donning bold white outfits, with Faye adding a playful twist by sporting a fun feathered blazer for the annual awards show.

Also in attendance was Olympic diving champion Tom Daley, who appeared to be enjoying his year-long break from the sport as he arrived in an eye-catching mesh vest.

Faye cut a stylish figure in a chic white blazer with a matching feathered boa and sophisticated trousers, adding some height to her look with nude thin-strapped heels.

The singer swept her blonde tresses into a sleek ponytail and completed her look with gold hoop earrings and a black clutch bag.

Meanwhile Claire opted for a glamorous white bouclé two piece that consisted of an oversized blazer and matching palazzo trousers, teamed with a black bustier.

Noticeably absent was bandmate Lisa Scott-Lee, but the group still posed up a storm together on the red carpet.

Meanwhile Tom, who announced last week he would not be competing at the Commonwealth Games after deciding to take a break from diving, continued to display his edgy sense of style.

Lesbian icon Sue, 52, said she was ‘honoured and excited’ to be chosen for the role, which saw her follow in the footsteps of past hosts Mel B, Alan Carr and Kelly Osbourne.

‘This is one of the year’s most important celebrations of the LGBT+ community and I’m delighted to be involved. It is always such a great event, shining a light on role models and those who advance the rights of LGBT+ people in Britain and across the world.

‘This event always attracts the biggest names, and this year will be no exception. I’m honoured to be a part of it. It is going to be a blast!’

It comes after the British LGBT Awards 2022 shortlist was unveiled, with Olly Alexander and Lady Gaga both being nominated in the Celebrity of the Year category, and Dua Lipa up for the MTV – Music Artist prize.

British LGBT Awards founder Sarah Garrett said: ‘These awards shine a light on those who have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the LGBT+ community, during what has been another very challenging 12 months for the community.

‘The nominees, which include an exciting mix of famous LGBT+ faces, allies and organisations have all demonstrated a commitment to advancing LGBT+ rights.

‘The awards on 24 June will be a huge celebration of our culture.’
