Sonia Kruger says ‘woke’ dietary requirements are ruining Christmas: ‘How the hell did cavemen survive without an oat milk latte?’
Sonia Kruger says that the dietary requirements of her guests are ruining the Christmas holidays.Â
The Big Brother host tells this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine that modern ‘woke‘ meal requests have made hosting over the holidays a pain. Â
‘Even though I’m semi-capable of pulling together a seasonal soirée, frankly I’d rather have root-canal therapy than be the designated host’ the 57-year-old said.Â

‘For a start, you’ll be completely bamboozled by what to serve because you have to cater to everybody’s highly evolved dietary requirements’ she said.Â
‘Gluten free, lactose free, nitrate free… honestly, how the hell did cavemen and women survive without an oat milk latte and a protein bar to snack on?’
Sonia says she has become ‘a fan of Christmas ghosting’ and would rather take a holiday than see her family over the festive period.

‘Forget obligation and expectation, I suggest wagging the whole festive fiasco and having some fun instead’ she said.Â
It comes after Sonia shared her health and fitness secrets in May, telling the Healthy-ish podcast that dancing keeps her looking trim.
‘You’re working out but you don’t realise how much you are because you’re genuinely having a good time,’ she said.

‘It’s the kind of activity that makes everybody feel happy,’ she added.
The mother of one praised dancing for its fitness benefits, which include cardio, strength and resistance.
‘Even your own body weight is a form of strength training and resistance training,’ she said.
Sonia’s ballroom dancing background helped her get her start in the industry when she scored a supporting role in Baz Luhrmann’s movie Strictly Ballroom in 1992.
