Simone Callahan shares an inspiring message about ‘allowing yourself to feel a multitude of feelings’ after loss of ex-husband Shane Warne

Simone Callahan has shared an inspirational message as she grieves the loss of her ex-husband Shane Warne. 

On Monday, the 52-year-old shared a new yoga video to Instagram alongside a long caption.   

’10 ways to show up for yourself,’ she began, listing a series of self-care mantras, including: ‘Commit to habits, practices, routines and rituals that are good for your well-being, even when you don’t want to’.

She went on: ‘Allow yourself to feel a multitude of feelings without labelling it as wrong, bad or negative.’ 

Simone continued: ‘Practice self forgiveness, for not being perfect, for forgetting, for your past, for what you don’t know, and for getting off track sometimes.

‘Let yourself start again, over and over, as often as needed. Take care of your basic needs, stay hydrated, get enough sleep, move your body, and eat plentiful.’

She also suggested giving, ‘yourself permission to rest, to take breaks, and to have down time’. 

As well as spending, ‘quality time with yourself, reading, writing, creating and getting to know who you are underneath who you think you should be.’

‘Remind yourself that you are as worthy of being shown up for as anyone else in life. Make yourself a priority in your own life,’ Simone concluded.

Shane Warne passed away on March 4, the first day of a Thai holiday on the island of Koh Samui, after suffering a heart attack in his luxury villa aged just 52. 

Simone and Shane had three children together, Brooke, 24, Jackson, 22, and Summer Warne, 20. 

A private memorial with Shane’s family was held in mid-March followed by a state funeral at the Cricket Ground on March 30.
