They posed with the cast of the show, including Adrianna Hicks and NaTasha Yvette Williams at the Shubert Theatre in New York.

Meanwhile, designer Christian looked dapper in a striped white shirt paired with a black blazer.

Christian grinned as he cosied up to Sam while the pair enjoyed their evening out together.

The singer was unfazed by recent drama as earlier in the day, they were called out publicly for their performance of ‘Unholy’ alongside Kim Petras at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

In a video posted to social media, the non-binary star was accosted by an Irish woman at the Central Park Zoo for being a ‘demonic, twisted, sick b*****d.’

‘Sam Smith belongs in hell,’ the woman could be heard yelling at the singer. ‘Leave the kids alone you sick f***er.’

The Stay With Me singer continued walking as the unidentified Irish woman hurled insults at them.

During the racy performance of their hit single, Petras and Smith appeared in red latex surrounded by dancers with whips and horns, including Sam whose top hat was adorned with devil horns.

After the performance, host Trevor Noah immediately joked about the fact the satanic themes would outrage some viewers.

The song was met with a similar reception at last week’s BRIT Awards where the raunchy performance garnered over 100 Ofcom complaints over ‘devil worship’ and a passionate kiss.

A spokesperson for Ofcom told MailOnline: ‘We received 106 complaints about The Brit Awards on ITV1 on 11 February.’

‘The majority of complaints related to Sam Smith’s performance, with the remainder about the use of offensive language and consumption of alcohol.’

Sam is in New York after they were pictured supporting rumoured boyfriend Christian from the front row during the city’s Fashion Week.

The pair were previously pictured together during a cosy outing in New York last month, but are yet to confirm if they are dating.
