Russell Crowe proved talent runs in the family on Monday as he took to the stage at The Hoey Moey pub in Coffs Harbour with his son Charles.
The Oscar-winning actor, 58, was in his element as he belted out some tunes with various acts, including new Australian Idol judge Amy Shark.
He owned the stage at the Indoor Garden Party, joining his band The Gentlemen Barbers as they all donned matching black suits.

Crowe’s girlfriend Britney Theriot made an appearance, taking to the microphone as a back-up singer and surprising the crowd with her gorgeous voice.
The actress-turned-real estate agent, 31, rocked bold red lipstick and a black shift dress, which she decorated with layered gold necklaces.

Sporting a black suit, the 19-year-old stirred up a ruckus on Twitter as fans of Crowe gushed over his son’s musical talents.
‘Wow, that is so beautiful that Charlie also was singing there,’ one person wrote.

It comes after Crowe returned home to Nana Glen near Coffs Harbour, on the NSW mid-north coast, just before Christmas to kick off his family festivities.

He and Theriot departed Sydney Airport in a private jet with copious amounts of bags and boxes filled with gifts.
Crowe recently enjoyed spending time with his Hollywood pals Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who hosted a star-studded Christmas party at their multimillion-dollar North Sydney penthouse.
After a big night of fun and celebrations, Crowe and his mates ducked out for a late-night snack, picking up kebabs on their way back home.
