The 24-year-old Karsen, the only child of Liotta and Michelle Grace, who he was married to from 1997 to 2004, took to Instagram on Thursday to speak about her father.

Liotta was found dead in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming the new movie Dangerous Waters, with the actor passing in his sleep.

She shared a photo of the actor holding Karsen as a young girl, along with a heartfelt caption.

‘Those who knew him, loved him. You are the best Dad anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything,’ she said.

She also took to her Instagram story to share a number of throwback snaps of her with her dad, including a few of them sitting courtside at Los Angeles Lakers games.

The father and daughter are also seen waving to photographers at the Indianapolis 500 back in 2007.

Liotta was engaged to Jacy Nitollo at the time of his death, with the couple getting engaged on Christmas Day in 2020.

Nitollo opened up about her fiance’s death last week, with an Instagram post of her own and a heartfelt message.

‘My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical. Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever,’ Nitollo began.

‘We laughed daily and we were inseparable. The chemistry was wild in the best way,’ she continued.

‘He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other. The kind of real love that one dreams of,’ she added.

It was revealed shortly after his death that his hometown of Union Township, New Jersey will plan on honoring the late actor.

He graduated from Union High School in 1973 and was inducted into the high school’s Hall of Fame in 1993, before going on to study his craft at University of Miami.
