Still grieving over the sudden and tragic loss of her beloved daughter, Priscilla Presley has kept her public appearances to a minimum in the wake of Lisa Marie Presley‘s death on January 12.
On Saturday, the former wife of Elvis Presley did her best to keep a low profile while at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood, a secluded hotel and hangout that’s been popular with celebrities over the years.
The actress and co-founder of Elvis Presley Enterprises, the company that helped turn Graceland into one of the top tourist attractions in the U.S., was able to keep some of her anonymity by wearing a black protective mask over the bottom half of her face.
But her striking red tresses are giveaway to some people who know her or are familiar with her long and storied history as Elvis Presley’s former wife.
Near the front doors, the New York City native appeared to get into a conversation with a man that either recognized her or he was someone that she knew.

Either way, the man had a big smile on his face during their brief conversation by the entrance and exit doors of the establishment.
After their chat, Presley continued on her way outside, passing a number of people and hotel guests who didn’t pay any attention to her.
On this day, Presley opted to go with an all-black ensemble consisting of slacks, matching top, jacket and boots.
The New York City native, 77, also carried a stylish black purse, and had her dyed red locks flowing long, several inches past her shoulders with a part on the slight left.
The Sunset Marquis has been a sanctuary of sorts for people looking for a relaxed atmosphere, all while being able to enjoy the perks of hotel.
It’s now been just over two months since Lisa Marie Presley suffered cardiac arrest at her home in the Calabasas neighborhood of Los Angeles at around 10-30 a.m on January 12.
Emergency workers were able to restart her heart by administering CPR during the drive to West Hills Hospital, but she died later in the day at age of 54.
Lisa Marie, who was a singer–songwriter with three studio album between 2003 and 2012, had just attended the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles with her mother two days before her passing.
The mother and daughter duo made a point to be at the awards show in a show of support for the acclaimed Elvis (2022) biopic from Baz Luhrmann that starred Austin Butler as the legendary King Of Rock And Roll, Elvis Presley.
During her walk along the red carpet of the event, Lisa Marie looked frail and fragile, which prompted her to lean on longtime family friend, Jerry Schilling, who’s now 81-years-old.
While being interviewed by Billy Bush for Extra, she linked arms with Schilling, telling him, ‘I’m gonna grab your arm.’
Both ladies were very open and honest in heaping praise on Luhrmann’s biopic, which focused on Elvis’s 20-plus year relationship with his manager Col. Tom Parker, and Butler’s performance as Elvis.
10 days after her passing, hundred of people attended a public memorial at Graceland in Memphis on January 22, and more than 1.5 million people watched the service via live stream as well.
