The Prince and Princess of Wales took some time out from their busy schedule to enjoy a pub lunch yesterday, according to reports on Twitter.Â
The Royal couple enjoyed their low-key date in Windsor and sat nearby Maggie Caxton and her partner, who were toasting to Ms Caxton’s OBE.  Â
Ms Caxton runs the North East Learning Trust, a multi-academy Trust which gives children across the North East of England the ‘very best education’.

The Trust tweeted: ‘Congratulations to our chair, Maggie Saxton, who received her OBE from Princess Anne at Windsor Castle yesterday.Â
‘Maggie was thrilled to attend the ceremony and in particular, to find herself sitting beside the Prince and Princess of Wales in the local pub afterwards!’
Further information about the Prince and Princess of Wales’s date has not be released.Â
To the delight of many in the centre in Hillingdon the Princess was spotted having an endearing exchange with a small child.Â

It’s not the first time William and Kate have been seen enjoying a meal out in a low-key establishment.Â
When in Norfolk at their Anmer Hall home, they’ve been spotted making visits to the The Crown Inn at East Rudham, which is a short walk away.
Another favourite is The Old Boot Inn in Stanford Dingley, Berkshire, near Kate’s parents, where she’s a fan of the sticky toffee pudding.Â
The chef previously told People: ‘Kate is always discreet and has always complimented the dishes with great kindness.’
And in 2021, the couple were spotted leaving Forgan’s restaurant in St Andrews after enjoying a meal during their week-long tour of Scotland in May 2021.
The couple even stopped off for a takeaway dinner at a chippy where they were regulars as students at St Andrews, during the same visit.Â
The couple ordered a £7.95 takeaway haddock supper, wrapped in paper, which they ate on a bench on the pier. They went back for ice creams – William’s in a cup, Kate’s in a cone – and chatted to staff, with Kate saying it had been a ‘trip down memory lane’.Â
