Pregnant Stacey Dooley shows off her blossoming bump

She’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Kevin Clifton next month. 

And Stacey Dooley showed off her growing baby bump as she posed up a storm for a sweet mirror selfie on Instagram on Wednesday. 

The presenter, 35, looked cosy in a beige co-ord as she told how it was her penultimate day of work before she begins her maternity leave.

She looked comfortable and casual in a vest top and matching baggy trousers which she teamed with white trainers while sweeping her red hair into a bun.  

She penned in the caption while joking about her ‘impractical’ handbag: ‘My penultimate day of work before the baby comes.

‘I haven’t got a steriliser yet, but I have got this completely impractical bag for expectant mothers so DON’T WORRY, (I’m gonna be great at this clearly!)’.

‘Hospy outfit’: It comes after last week Stacey revealed the outfit she has chosen for her baby’s due date (pictured) 

The journalist recently proved that she is well and truly prepared for the special day as she showed fans her ‘hospital outfit’. 

She admitted that she had bought the ensemble – consisting of maternity loungewear and a trench coat, specifically for her due date.

Stacey beamed for a snap in the mirror as she donned a pair of loose-fitting grey sweatpants and a matching vest top.

She teamed the ensemble with a vegan leather trench coat from fashion brand Nanushka and a pair of Asics trainers.

And admitting that she has also got a manicure in preparation for giving birth, the former Strictly star jokingly dubbed herself a ‘moron’ in the picture’s caption.

‘What kind of a moron selects a hospy outfit for the baby’s arrival? A vegan trench and a denim mani…Me, appaz,’ wrote Stacey.

Many fans and famous friends took to the comments to offer advice and well wishes, with Paloma Faith, who is mother to two daughters, jesting: ‘Enjoy it now because for the next year you will barely be able to get dressed.

But as Stacey prepares to welcome her new arrival, the presenter showed that she’s still keeping busy by sharing snaps from a TV set last month.

The post showed the beauty getting her makeup done as she prepared for an on-screen appearance, wearing a tank top as she showed how much her bump had grown.

She wrote on the pictures posted: ‘Baby and Bow on set’, giving a nod to her makeup artist Bow, who gave her a flawless face as she posed for a few selfies.

Stacey and Kevin announced their pregnancy news in August , sharing a vintage snap as she cradled her new bump. She wrote at the time: ‘Gaaaaaaang… We are having a baby! So bloody delighted. Kev, you’re magic, I love youuuu.

‘(Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I’ve had my tits done in LA I’m gonna scream). Here goessssssss.’
