Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham fuel dating rumors after looking ‘flirtatious’ at a comedy show

Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham, who have been friends since 2021, are continuing to fuel romance rumors after attending Kate Berlant‘s one-woman-show on Monday.

While sitting next to each other in the audience at Connelly Theater in New York City, the 32-year-old filmmaker reportedly gave the Scott Street singer, 28, ‘his undivided and doting attention.’

An insider at Jezebel revealed that the chemistry between them ‘felt flirtatious’ and that Burnham seemed to be ‘trying to impress her.’

The comedian, who was directing Berlant‘s show, stepped on stage to assist with some technical difficulties that led to the performance getting canceled. 

Their latest sighting together comes after recent reports that they have been spotted ‘making out’ and ‘canoodling’ around Los Angeles, following her shock split from Paul Mescal, according to the Deux U podcast. 

Last week, Bridgers and Burnham posed for a bizarre photo together, which showed her kissing Matthew Healy as he stood behind them with his eyes closed.

Bridgers and Mescal, known for his starring role on Normal People, sparked engagement rumors earlier this year before recently calling it quits.

They first went Instagram official with their relationship last December, with a very loved-up image of the two of them.

While it was the first time the pair of them have made their social media debut, the pair walked the red carpet at LACMA Art+Film Gala the previous month.

They were also spotted on a very cosy stroll in Los Angeles.

The couple were first romantically linked to one another after a source told The Sun that they spent a weekend together in August 2020.

The insider shared: ‘Paul invited pals and they played wild drinking games. They’re both smitten. His membership on the celeb dating site Raya is a smokescreen to cover up that they’re secretly an item.’

Paul previously opened up about his romance, saying to GQ magazine: ‘To have someone to lean on through such a mad, mad time has been invaluable. Really, I don’t know where I’d be without her.’

Meanwhile, the Indie rock star told NME magazine in May that she thought Paul was a ‘cute boy’ after becoming a fan of his after watching Normal People.

She went on to follow him on Instagram, with the actor quickly returning the favour.
