Pete Murray, 53, flaunts his ripped chest on the cover of Men’s Health magazine

Peter Murray has flaunted his ripped chest in just a pair of jeans for this month’s cover of Men’s Health magazine. 

The singer, 53, proved to be in the best shape of his life as he posed next to a beach with his ripping six-pack on display.

Pete looked to have barely aged from his hitmaking heyday as he stood with him grabbing at one of his fingers.

Pete was freshly shaven with him wearing his thick hair combed back. 

Murray revealed his father died of a heart attack at 47, which inspired him to be health conscious throughout his life. 

‘I’m not a super religious person, but ever since I was a kid I say my prayers and one thing I ask is that we all grow old together, because that didn’t happen for my dad,’ Murray said.

‘And that’s something that was a massive loss for me at 18… it’s horrible to lose someone close to you at a young age. 

Murray is a father of four to sons Pedro and Charlie from his first marriage. 

He shares daughters Saachi and Sahara with wife Mira.  

‘I’m not a super religious person, but ever since I was a kid I say my prayers and one thing I ask is that we all grow old together, because that didn’t happen for my dad,’ Murray said

‘I want to be there for my kids, I don’t want to put them through that,’ he added. 

‘It’s a big goal to keep fit and healthy and doing this has really helped me understand diet a lot more and what I should stick to.’ 

The cover comes 22 years after his debut album release, The Game, in 2001.

Pete and wife Mira (pictured together in 2015) are parents to daughter Saachi, three. He is also a father to teenage sons Charlie and Pedro from his marriage to Amanda Coutts 

Pete revealed he would soon be going on a greatest hits tour in July and August. 

The singer will perform eight shows across the country.
