Papua New Guinea rocked by 6.3 magnitude earthquake

An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 has struck the Papua New Guinea region of New Britain, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reports.

The quake hit at a depth of 140km on Wednesday, the agency said.
