Pamela Anderson is looking back at her high-profile life in her new memoir Love, Pamela, which comes out at the end of this month.
In a new excerpt shared by People, the 55-year-old Baywatch actress talked about the two sons she has with ex-husband Tommy Lee: Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25.
The Playboy pinup said that it is a ‘miracle’ that both of the boys – who grew up in Malibu, California – turned out fine considering their ‘gene pool.’

‘Brandon and Dylan are true miracles, considering their gene pool,’ she noted in her tell all book.
She was married to Tommy from 1995 until 1998 and their marriage was the focus of a new series Pam & Tommy which has put Anderson back in the spotlight.
The Home Improvement actress said her boys have had to endure a lot: ‘They have been through so much, yet they are not full of holes,’ added the Barb Wire star.

She feels that her divorce with Lee was a very sad thing for them.
‘I think we really let our kids down. And that’s something it’s really hard for me to forgive myself about,’ noted the blonde beauty.
‘We should have found a way through it. I couldn’t accept any kind of violent maneuver. It was my childhood fears coming out.’

She then said she put the kids first: ‘I didn’t want that for my kids and as much as I loved Tommy more than anything in the world, I loved my kids more.’
The TV star then focused on becoming a single mom. And focusing on the kids gave her courage to go on.
‘They saved me,’ she said. ‘I don’t want to put that on my kids but having children changed everything. I’ve loved every moment.’
Anderson also noted that her boys encouraged her to write her book. She also has a Nextflix docu coming out.

The day before Pamela named the Mötley Crüe drummer the one true love of her life.
Her other marriages were to Kid Rock from 2006 until 2007, Rick Salomon from 2007 until 2008, and then again from 2014 until 2015, and finally her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, whom she wed in 2020 and split from in January 2022.
There were reports she married 77-year-old A Star Is Born producer Jon Peters in Malibu in January 2020 for only a few days, but the actress subsequently denied it.

Despite their many ups and downs – Pamela once told an LA court that her children ‘were not safe’ with Tommy – she now confesses she’s ‘made peace’ with the hell-raiser and is looking back at their relationship more fondly.
‘We just wanted to have babies and be together forever,’ she said of her time with the rocker, with whom she shares two children.
‘My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love,’ she revealed.
However, their relationship suffered a hit when their sex tape was stolen and leaked – which Pamela suggests was the catalyst for why they ultimately split up.

She made the tape with drummer Lee, who is now 60, during a 1995 vacation to Lake Mead, a reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam on the Colorado River in the Southwestern United States.
‘It ruined lives, starting with our relationship — and it’s unforgivable that people, still to this day, think they can profit from such a terrible experience, let alone a crime,’ Pamela shared in her memoir.
And then Tommy became violent, she claimed.
In her book the Stacked actress said that the drummer twisted her arm when they were with their sons.

‘Tommy ripped Brandon off me and threw me and Dylan into a wall,’ she claimed.
She called 911 and Lee was arrested. He reportedly served six months in jail for ‘felony spousal abuse.’
‘The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life,’ Pamela wrote.
‘I was crushed. I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night. We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.’
On the cover of People it is stated that she has since ‘made peace’ with Tommy.
Lee has been married since 2019 to 36-year-old actress and Vine star Brittany Furlan.
