Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen has broken her silence after her ex-husband Clive’s rival show finally aired.
The show, Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben and Clive, sees the pair launch a digging business together and does not feature the shepherdess.
After the first episode aired earlier this week, Amanda, 48, took to Instagram to share pictures of her children on a dark and misty night on the farm.
She wrote in a now-deleted post: ‘The stars at night’, later adding ‘Let there be light.’
Speaking out: Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen has broken her silence after her ex-husband Clive’s rival show finally aired
Beyond The Yorkshire Farm charts the challenges Reuben faces during his first year in business, supported by his father Clive, best friend Tom and girlfriend Sarah.
The series features a variety of scenes as Reuben learns the ropes of running a farm.
One part of the first episode shows him making a series of pools with his father.
In another clip, Clive asks Reuben about his relationship with girlfriend Sarah.

It comes after it was confirmed by Channel 5 last month that Our Yorkshire Farm would not return following Amanda and Clive’s split after 21 years of marriage.
Factual boss Daniel Pearl told The Mirror: ‘The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life. It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.
‘We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.’
Amanda reunited with her former co-star Clive last month to attend their 21-year-old daughter Raven’s graduation from York St John University, where she had been studying biomedicine.
The shepherdess– who previously said she and Clive would continue to co-parent their nine children – shared pictures and wrote on Instagram: ‘A first-class week for Raven. What an incredible achievement.
‘So proud to see her graduate at the glorious @york_minster_official @yorkstjohn. No amount of rain could dampen our spirits.

Amanda made her first TV appearance alongside Clive in 2011 on ITV’s The Dales, before they landed their own Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm in 2018.
However, in June, following months of rumours regarding the state of their marriage, Amanda and Clive issued a joint statement saying they had made ‘the difficult decision to separate’.
She met her husband in 1995 when he was already divorced with two children, after she arrived at his farm as a 21-year-old trainee shepherdess.
It didn’t take long for the couple get hitched, with five children quickly following.
The couple appeared as regulars on Adrian Edmondson’s 2011 ITV documentary series The Dales alongside the Reverend Ann Chapman, the vicar of four small churches, and a number of others living in rural Yorkshire.
The public were quick to fall for the couple and their unusual love story, dubbing them the ‘Kardashians of the Countryside’.

They began making further media appearances and offering interviews to media about their family, with Amanda regularly opening up about life as a mother of nine.
In November 2015, the family appeared in an episode of New Lives In The Wild UK with Ben Fogle, a Channel 5 programme made by Warner Brothers’ Renegade Pictures.
By this stage, Amanda was picking up her own media appearances, as well as releasing her first book The Yorkshire Shepherdess.
In 2017, she released a further tome A Year in the Life of the Yorkshire Shepherdess and appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity.
The popularity of the family led to their own observational documentary series on Channel 5 called Our Yorkshire Farm, which started in 2018.
It quickly became a hit, and was one of the channel’s most popular programmes with more than three million viewers watching each episode.
By 2019, Amanda was releasing a third book Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess and was the subject of Radio 4’s On Your Farm.
Meanwhile she also appeared on the podcast Trees A Crowd with David Oakes.
Meanwhile Our Yorkshire Farm became an unlikely lockdown hit, proving to be the most-watched programme in a 9pm slot for two weeks in a row in August.
At the time, viewers said the show was the best TV series they had seen in years, with many saying they couldn’t wait for the next instalment.
The shepherdess began making solo appearances on a variety of TV shows, becoming a regular guest on programmes such as Lorraine and This Morning to offer comment on parenting and life on the farm.
Meanwhile Amanda was featured as one of the four celebrities travelling with a 360 degree camera in series two of BBC 4’s Winter Walks, with her episode featuring a journey through Wensleydale and Raydale.
She also filmed a couple of reports for Live: Winter on the Farm, broadcast on Channel 5 between December 6 and 9 2021 and appeared as the featured guest on Radio 4’s The Poet Laureate Has Gone To His Shed with Simon Armitage.
Meanwhile she released two further books Tales From the Farm and Celebrating The Seasons, both of which she spent time heavily promoting.
In November last year, neighbours told MailOnline she and Clive had been living apart for months after she ‘got caught up in the spotlight’ of her Channel 5 programme.
Amanda moved into their rental property down the road from Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale, where Clive has been staying in the farmhouse, villagers said.
Clive was understood to be ‘desperate’ to repair their relationship and ‘feared’ their marriage would end in divorce.
Meanwhile Amanda continued to give media interviews saying that she ‘didn’t regret’ inviting the public into her life through Our Yorkshire Farm – despite reports her fame left her marriage on the rocks.
But earlier this year, the couple confirmed they had split.
The news left fans of the show dismayed but it was no surprise to friends of the couple.
A source close to Clive and Amanda said: ‘It’s really sad for both of them that it’s come to this, especially with such a large family and some of them so young.
‘It’s been an open secret across the dale for a long time that they have been having problems and have been living apart.
‘Amanda has been living in their holiday let, a cottage just under a mile away from Ravenseat and Clive has been staying at the farm where he’s always been.’
Locals speaking to The Sun have claimed the split came after there were ‘rumours for ages’ that she had become friendly with a cameraman, though they said there was ‘no suggestion of an affair.’
Following the split, TV insiders said Amanda planned to ‘go solo’ having booked in meetings with TV execs and even taken on a PR agency, explaining: ‘This is now her golden opportunity to shine and start earning millions as a solo commodity, through both brand endorsements and a new show.’
Saying there is ‘absolutely no reason’ why she couldn’t carry a series alone, they added: ‘Amanda has everything going for her, likeability, knowledge, beauty, PR nous and, crucially, she’s a natural on camera.’
