Australian director Baz Luhrmann made a show stopping appearance as he attended the 2023 Oscars on Sunday.
The 60-year-old wore a $263,000 necklace by David Webb to the prestigious awards ceremony as he posed alongside his wife Catherine Martin and daughter Lillian.
The statement piece featured a stunning carved jade plaque surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds and black enamel.
Baz ensured his necklace was on display as he posed on the red carpet in a simple black suede jacket and black pants.
The director placed the jewellery piece on top of a plain white shirt and completed his look with shiny black shoes.

Catherine, known for collaborating with her husband on several films such as Moulin Rogue and The Great Gatsby, also wore oversized black glasses.
The couple’s daughter Lillian looked glamorous in a long gold sequinned dress as she embraced her father Baz on the red carpet.
The 19-year-old tied her hair up and decided on a natural makeup look consisting of a nude lip and eyeshadow.

Baz has received a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars for directing the acclaimed biopic Elvis, about the life of the legendary singer.
Meanwhile, his wife Catherine has been nominated for Best Costume Design for her work on the same movie.
The critically acclaimed Elvis biopic stars Austin Butler as Elvis, Olivia de Jong as he wife Priscilla and Tom Hanks as the King’s notorious manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
The movie follows Elvis from his childhood poverty through to his emergence as a global superstar before his untimely death at the age of 42 in 1977.
