One woman has died and four were injured after a car struck a group of pedestrians in New York City.
One of the victims passed away, another was in critical condition, two suffered serious injuries and another had minor injuries.
An NYPD spokesperson told DailyMail.com that the driver is not among the injured and is not in custody. Â
FDNY said the vehicle hit the crowd just after 7pm at Macon Street and Ralph Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn.
The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Â
Cops, firefighters and ambulances swooped on the scene and taped off the entrance to the road.
It has been a bloody 48 hours on New York City’s streets already with two people having been killed and two other hospitalized in separate incidents. Â
