Pamela looked incredible in Victoria’s design, which featured a sexy cutout across the midriff and upper thigh.

Looking up at at the sky, Anderson posed with her chest out and shoulders back, elongating her petite frame with triumphant strength.

The Playboy legend went makeup-free for the photoshoot as she showed off her abundance of freckles and stunning complexion.

In stark contrast to her usual siren look with bouncy tresses and smoky eye makeup, her blonde hair was left down and unstyled.

The star, who has been promoting her Netflix documentary Pamela, a Love Story, and her memoir, Love, Pamela, said she feels most beautiful ‘when everything’s pared down.’

‘I like to see my freckles,’ she told WWD. ‘I like when my hair isn’t done. I like just a really fresh face.

‘I don’t like those injections, and that doesn’t work on me. I want to see what’s going to happen.’

The beauty went on to share what it was like telling her own story, life in her hometown, fashion, and being an icon.

Both of her most recent projects have been met with positive reviews, both critically and from the general public.

‘Every day I just wake up a little happier. I feel like it’s such a sense of relief, and I’m so grateful for the outpouring of support and love,’ she said to WWD.

When asked what it was like to be able to finally tell her own story, Pamela said that she ‘never thought I’d get the chance to do it.’

She added: ‘I thought my legacy would be a red swimsuit and a pink fuzzy hat, and nobody would ever know how much I’ve gone through, what I’ve overcome and how I put this all together as a creative art project.’

When it comes to what the word ‘icon’ means to her, Anderson said that the term is ‘way overboard’ – similar to the term ‘sex symbol.’

‘There’s so much more to a person than a word that drums up this idea of who you think you know. And I guess that’s been my project right now, is deconstructing that image.’

Pamela went on to say: ‘This is just the beginning of my life, I feel like. I feel like I just went through all that for a reason, and now I’m free of it. And now whatever’s next is going to be great and on my terms.’

She also mentioned how she didn’t think she would’ve been able to get the work done on her documentary and memoir if she had been in a relationship.

Anderson told WWD: ‘I never would’ve been able to do this book, or shoot this documentary, or have any of these conversations if I was in a relationship. And that shows you what kind of relationships I’ve had in the past.’

Her infamous relationship with Tommy Lee was followed by short-lived romances with Kid Rock, poker player Rick Solomon, film producer Jon Peters, and her contractor in Ladysmith, Dan Hayhurst.

She has described her two-year marriage to Hayhurst as ‘worse than any of [her previous marriages]’ and claimed that she eventually had to pay him off to go away, despite having a prenup.

Filled with multiple accounts of molestation and rape, Pamela’s traumatic upbringing was plagued by poverty and abuse.

Describing her nightmarish parents as ‘hot trouble, the local Bonnie and Clyde,’ Pamela told The Times that her desire to leave home for the Playboy Mansion came from her being ‘painfully shy.’

‘I was painfully shy and I hated that feeling,’ she said. ‘That’s why I did it. I just didn’t want that feeling any more.’

Describing the positive effects of her first pictorial, the Baywatch star said: ‘Doing that first photoshoot gave me this little kind of portal on what it felt like to be a sensual woman. My sexuality was mine. I took my power back.’

Anderson has graced the cover of Playboy a record 14 times and told The Times that the only man who ever treated her with respect was Hugh Hefner.

Pamela also told WWD: 'I don’t like those injections, and that doesn’t work on me. I want to see what’s going to happen'
