Netflix revealed that it has plenty of high-profile films in the pipeline with a new trailer highlighting some of its upcoming 2023 films on Wednesday.

The streamer unveiled release dates for the highly anticipated films, including a new rom-com starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher, along with a sequel to Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

The lineup also has some entries more likely to appeal to cinephiles, including Zodiac director David Fincher’s latest film The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton.

After a brief look back at some of Netflix’s 2022 offerings, the streamer urged viewers to ‘save the dates’ as it shared release dates for several movies.

First up was Eddie Murphy’s latest comedy costarring Jonah Hill, You People.

‘So do you hang out in the hood all the time, or do you just come up here for our food and women,’ he quizzes Hill, whose character is dating his daughter.

‘Where’s our waiter?!’ responds a smiley but awkward Hill, who sports a thick beard. 

You People will be released on the service on January 27. 

Romantic comedy fans will also have Reese’s new movie Your Place Or Mine to look forward to. 

She’s seen in a clip from the film — which debuts on February 10 — while sitting in a bathtub and talking on the phone to her costar Ashton Kutcher, who’s in his own bathtub and featured in split screen.

Mystery and thriller fans can look forward to Idris Elba returning for a Luther movie subtitled The Fallen Sun, which premieres on March 10. 

‘This is my case. I’ve got to make it right,’ the actor confesses in a short clip.

Sandler and Aniston give a comedic update on the mystery thriller in a clip from Murder Mystery 2 featuring a deadpan Mark Strong. 

‘Your reputations precede you,’ he tells the onscreen couple by the sea while wearing body armor.

After they sheepishly thank him, he adds, ‘Not in a positive way, I’m afraid.’

The film will be released on March 31.

Action fans can look forward to Jennifer Lopez’s rough side in The Mother — releasing on May 12 — while Chris Hemsworth stars in a sequel to Extraction that will debut on June 16.

Jamie Foxx and John Boyega will be on hand for the upcoming science fiction comedy They Cloned Tyrone, which drops on July 21.

Gal Gadot showed off her action chops while running from danger in a short clip from her upcoming spy thriller Heart Of Stone, which is out on August 11.

The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan.
