Nine people have been rushed to hospital after a four-car crash on a major Queensland highway.
Queensland Fire and Emergency services were called to the massive crash on Heritage Drive and Beaudesert Nerang Road at Mount Nathan in the Gold Coast hinterland at 10.16am on Saturday.
Horror footage from the crash shows the four damaged cars scattered along the highway.

Other vehicles pulled over to help the passengers of the damaged cars and assess the scene.Â
Multiple paramedics assessed the patients at the scene before they were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said eight of the patients were transported in a stable condition with one in a serious but stable condition.Â
Gold Coast Police were also on the scene to help direct traffic.Â
