A mother who said not one of the 27 kids that she invited to her three-year-old daughter’s birthday party showed up has slammed the ‘careless’ parents who stood them up with no explanation – but said her daughter has now been inundated with thousands of messages and gift offers from strangers online after her story went viral.

Mom-of-three Breanna Strong, 27, from Salt Lake City, Utah, gained a lot of attention on TikTok after she revealed that zero people had turned up to her young daughter, Avery’s birthday bash over the weekend – despite 27 people being invited and 13 RSVP’ing with a ‘yes.’

Now, Breanna has opened up about the ‘heartbreaking’ ordeal exclusively to DailyMail.com, revealing that she was left ‘completely devastated’ for her toddler, who didn’t even get a chance to enjoy her cake and had to sit and eat her pizza alone, while hitting out at the parents who didn’t show.

She ordered pizzas, an intricate Frozen-themed cake, and tons more goodies, expecting that at least some of the 27 kids she had invited would come.

‘I created my own invitation and sent it to multiple friends, with responses of, “We will be there,” “Can’t wait, the kids will be so excited,” etc.,’ she recalled to DailyMail.com.

‘I even created a Facebook event. I invited 13 different families, with 27 children amongst them all.

‘The day before her birthday party there were seven families who had RSVP’d saying they were coming. I was accounting for 13 kids to come.’

But Breanna said she woke up on the morning of the party to discover that three of the families had changed their RSVPs from ‘going’ to ‘not going’ last minute, with no explanation.

Even so, she headed to Kidstopia with little Avery – but no one showed up, leaving the toddler to sit and eat her pizza all by herself

Breanna admitted that she was more upset about it than her daughter was - since the youngster still had a fun time at the indoor playground and was too young to fully understand

Even so, she headed to Kidstopia with little Avery. No one was there upon their arrival, so she messaged the people who still had their RSVP’s set to ‘going’ to see where they were.

But Breanna said time continued to tick by, and nobody showed up or responded to her messages.

’15 more minutes passed and I knew they weren’t coming,’ she said. ‘I was completely devastated watching my daughter sit alone while eating her pizza. We didn’t even cut her cake. It broke my heart.’

‘I know my daughter didn’t know the difference,’ she explained. ‘She still got everything she wanted.’

Cancelations must be made at least 24 hours in advance – so Breanna still had to pay for the party, but she said Kidstopia was nice enough to charge her for the smallest package, which was $200, even though she had booked the largest one.

She added that ‘as much as it hurt her feelings,’ she is thankful that she now knows ‘who her true friends are.’

Before opening up about it on TikTok, Breanna voiced her anger in a post on her Instagram Stories – because she ‘knew the parents who were invited would see it – and she said many of them reached out to apologize, but she didn’t want to hear it.

‘I received messages from those who were invited informing me, “It was an awful morning with the boys,” or, “I’m so sorry. We forgot,” or, “I wish we could have come! The kids aren’t feeling well.”

‘To me it was very careless of the parents who were invited. I sent texts, posted in the event on Facebook several times and even made a post on Instagram about how excited Avery was about her party tomorrow.

‘It’s a lot of time, effort and money to set up special events for anything. RSVPs are not what they use to be.

‘I also feel like parties have unfortunately died out during COVID. I’m still disappointed in what happen but I know there is always next year.’

Breanna told DailyMail.com that she 'never thought' the video would 'blow up the way it did,' and that it has since sparked a slew of kind messages from people regarding her daughter

She then decided to speak out about it on TikTok, where the video quickly went viral – gaining more than 6.4 million views in a matter of days – and it resulted in many people around the world sending Avery their love.

‘We invited 27 kids to Avery’s third birthday party. Not a single one of her friends showed up,’ Breanna wrote in the video, as she showed off the empty room.

‘Money and time wasted. Breaks my momma heart so bad. Literally going to go home and snuggle my babies.’

Breanna told DailyMail.com that she ‘never thought’ the video would ‘blow up the way it did,’ and that it has since sparked a slew of kind messages from people regarding her daughter.

‘I have had several hundred messages asking about how people can help make Avery’s birthday special,’ she concluded.

‘People have been asking for Amazon wish list to send gifts, I had a family ask if they can send us to Disneyland, and impersonators who dress up as Elsa from Frozen [want] to FaceTime with Avery to wish her a happy birthday.

‘I wish I could give her the world because she most certainly deserves it, but instead of only 27 friends wishing her a happy birthday, thousands of people across the world have.’
