Megan Marx was recently crowned ‘Centerfold of the Day’ on Playboy’s new creator platform, which has been billed as an ‘elevated’ alternative to the raunchy OnlyFans.
But despite the former Bachelor star’s success on the iconic website, she’s been targeted by a cruel troll who said that her disability makes her unsuitable to model for Playboy.
Earlier this year, Megan was diagnosed with a rare degenerative neurological disease called Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA6).Â
The reality star was doing a Q&A on Instagram about her work with Playboy when a troll wrote: ‘No one wants to see someone with a disability on Playboy. It’s embarrassing you’re on there.’
Firing back, Megan wrote: ‘I’d love to play victim and pretend that your words have hurt me, but they really haven’t.Â

‘No one knows how many healthy years they have left, or years at all – but I certainly have an idea of how my body wants to experience the world while it can. MY body.’
She continued: ‘Travelling, scuba diving, writing books, painting, sailing, making love to my hot boyfriend. Making money so I can do all these things.
‘FYI – Every single person with a disability has not just the right to feel sexy, but to be perceived as sexy. “No one wants to see,” huh? My bank account says the opposite, idiot.’
While the 33-year-old has yet to reveal her official Playboy earnings, she hinted this week that she’s already making a six-figure salary after just three weeks on the platform.
The 33-year-old fired back at the vicious troll in a lengthy post on Instagram on Saturday
It comes after Megan shared her heartbreaking diagnosis in an Instagram post in January, while assuring fans she’s remaining optimistic.
‘Months of waiting for gene test results, I met with the neurologist on Friday. Sh*t news. Diagnosis. Some tears while [Megan’s boyfriend] Keith took over the conversation,’ she began.Â
The blonde, who shot to fame on Ritchie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016, then revealed her remarkably positive attitude after learning that she will suffer from progressively worsening problems with muscle control.
‘Feeling grateful for my physical body right now, in its present state, before neurological degeneration attempts to take some of me from me,’ she wrote.Â
‘All the yays for lovemaking and skinnydipping and hiking and painting and food-ing and bad dancing and awful conversations at bars. Actually feeling grateful altogether. Many have worse diagnoses. Just some processing to do. Lots of living to do,’ she concluded.

Spinocerebellar ataxia type 6 (SCA6) is a neurological condition characterised by late onset, slowly progressive problems with movement.
Symptoms of SCA6 can include struggling with coordination, stumbling, imbalance and in some cases, slurred speech.
The rare disorder, whoch affects 1 in 100,000, is not curable and there is no specific treatment to delay or halt its progression.Â
However, there are various therapies that can help to manage symptoms.
Megan’s post was flooded with comments from her friends wishing her all the best, including fellow Bachelor star Brittany Hockley who wrote: ‘My love… I am a phone call away if you need anything.’
‘Love you. Thinking of you,’ Bachelor contestant Jessica Brody added.

Reality star Megan, best known for The Bachelor and MTV’s The Challenge, has become one of the top creators on Playboy since joining the site earlier this month.
Just two weeks after being approved as a creator, Megan was named the ‘Centerfold of the Day’ on Playboy.com and became the top trending model on the website too.
She previously appeared topless on the cover of Maxim Australia with fellow Bachelor star Tiffany Scanlon, with whom she was in a relationship at the time.
The model, who grew up in a strict religious cult, said it was Playboy’s dedication to sexual freedom that inspired her to sign up.
